Tommaso Ciampa talks about taking his family to see the sights in Boston: “We’ve been talking, my wife and I, because we’ve come here probably twice a year for a while for wrestling. And every time we’re like, let’s just make a quick stop at the house. This one we finally made, carved out, it only took an extra 10 minutes of our day. But it was cool, just a childhood home, looks exactly the way I remember it. Still as green as can be, just like the Green Monster, but it was very cool. I didn’t think there would be any emotional charge to it, but just being in front of it with little seven-year-old Willow and all these memories flood you back. And I was telling her, I’m like, ‘Oh yeah, Mikey lived two houses down there.’ And, you know, it’s just, she can relate so much to like being a child, playing with the neighbors, being in the neighborhood. So to have her be able to like actually visualize, ‘Oh, this is what dad did.’ We took her to our favorite breakfast place. We took her to our, the place we had our first date. It was all unplanned. It was all just stuff like, ‘Oh, we have an extra day.'”
Elayna Black f/k/a Cora Jade talks about her WWE release: “Yeah, I mean, obviously, it sucked. You know, I started watching wrestling when I was eight years old. I dropped out of high school at 15 to become a wrestler, so it’s the only thing I had ever wanted. I only ever wanted to make it to WWE and become a, you know, WWE champion. And, you know, it was always my goal for that. So, obviously, having that ripped away from me is, was very hard. But, I’m the type of person who, I never like to stop and just sit in my sadness or in my problems, you know? I wanted to just keep going and going and going. So, I think right away, maybe I didn’t process it immediately. I think at first, I was like, ‘Yep, that sucks.’ You know, I cried, but I think I immediately, like that night, I was like, ‘Moving on.’ I was trying to put myself in the mindset of, ‘You know, I’m going to go prove myself, I’m going to go, you know, it’s fine, it is what it is, you know? It…’ Obviously, I was angry, I was upset, I was all these different emotions, but overall, I was just ready to go be like, ‘Fuck this, I’m going to go prove myself.'”
