We get a video recap of The War Raiders winning a triple threat match to become the #1 contenders for the Tag Team Titles, and they attacked Psycho Clown in his match, but suffered a retaliatory attack by Pagano with a kendo stick.

* AAA World Tag Team Championship: The War Raiders vs. Psycho Clown & Pagano {C}

The crowd chants “Psycho Circus” before the match, referee Adrian Butler holds up the titles, calls for the bell, and once the bell dings The War Raiders attack the champs immediately. Pagano hits Erik with a running back elbow, tope con hilo to Ivar, Psycho Clown hits a diving crossbody to Erik, Pagano puts Ivar in the ring, but they both beat him up. Pagano fights them off, hits a running blockbuster to Ivar to make him DDT Erik, then Pagano drops Erik with the air raid crash. Pagano goes up top, Ivar cuts him off, Pagano knocks him down, Erik knocks Pagano off the apron, knocks Psycho Clown off the apron, and Ivar splashes Pagano against the steel steps!

Ivar throws him back into the ring, covers, and gets a 2-count. Erik tags in, hard punch, locks him in a front facelock, prevents him from making the tag, hits a big knee to the jaw, and covers for 2. Ivar tags in, body slams Pagano, then Erik body slams Ivar onto Pagano, and Ivar covers for a 2-count. Ivar continues the tag, Erik tags in, Pagano sticks a boot up, and Psycho Clown has finally made it back onto the apron to receive the hot tag!

Psycho Clown fights both men, hits the Psycho Elbow to Erik, hits the Code Red to Ivar, hops onto the apron, and hits a suicide dive to Erik! Psycho hits a moonsault off the middle ropes to Ivar, covers for a near-fall, and Ivar squats on him. Erik tags in, hits the shotgun knees, carries Ivar for a hip attack, and hits a big knee to Pagano’s chin. Erik and Ivar deliver the Viking Experience to Psycho Clown, they stack the cover, and Psycho Clown still kicks out at 2.9! Ivar steps out, tags in, Psycho Clown avoids the Ragnarok, hits Ivar with an enzuigiri, and makes his own hot tag.

Pagano fights Erik off, hits a springboard missile dropkick, delivers the Emerald Flowsion, covers, and gets a near-fall! Erik clobbers him in the jaw, Pagano fights back, Erik punches him, Pagano punches him back, and they trade blows to “boos” and “yays” from the crowd. Pagano hits a running elbow, Erik hits a running forearm, headbutts him, delivers an exploder suplex, but Pagano is back up! Pagano hits a back elbow, chops and punches him, belly-to-belly throw, and Erik makes his way to tag out. Ivar drops Pagano with a spin kick, gets up on the middle ropes, goes up top, hits the Doomsault, covers, and Psycho Clown breaks it up with a diving body splash! Psycho Clown actually picks up Ivar for the Psycho Driver, and all four men are down!

Both teams struggle up to their feet, they stand across the ring, Psycho Clown suffers a transformation and reveals his sinister mask before they all start scrapping again! Psycho hits Erik with a powerslam, Pagano hits Ivar with a diving lungblower, Psycho goes up top, hits a split-legged moonsault, Pagano goes up top, hits a diving legdrop, covers, and Ivar breaks it up! Erik teases using a steel chair on Psycho Clown, but referee Adrian Butler catches him, Pagano is swinging on Ivar, and elbows Psycho Clown in the face by friendly fire thinking it was Erik! Oh no! Psycho and Pagano have words with each other, Psycho shoves him back, Pagano comes to his senses, and The War Raider take advantage! Pagano and Ivar shove the ref away, Psycho and Erik shoves the ref on his ass, and Adrian Butler calls for the bell! NO CONTEST.

All four men continue to fight as more referees come down to ease the tensions, but they’ve already risen high as War Raiders grab steel chairs, the clowns wield kendo sticks, and they all start swinging at each other! The refs remove the weapons, but the fight continues!!

Backstage, Dorian Roldán is on the phone with his ma. Meanwhile, El Hijo Del Vikingo crashes out in the background, while Omos just sits in a chair observing. Vikingo is mad about Mini Vikingo for last week, Dorian calms him down, talks about WrestleMania weekend, and entices him to challenge Penta for the Intercontinental Championship. Hijo Del Viingo likes the idea so he shifts his focus on that.

Next week, the AAA Cruiserweight Championship will be on the line in a four corners match with Dragon Lee, TJP and Jack Cartwheel all challenging the champion Laredo Kid. Also, El Fiscal takes on Abismo Negro. And now next week, El Hijo Del Vikingo calls out Penta.

* Rey de Reyes Sword Presentation

Now, AAA President Marisela Peña is in the ring with CEO Dorian Roldán ready for the presentation of the sword of Rey de Reyes to the winner of the 2026 tournament. Former competitors and winners of the sword head out including Chessman (2010), Texano Jr. (2015), and Cibernético. El Grande Americano is introduced as he is the 2026 winner of the Rey de Reyes tournament. El Grande Americano gets on the mic thanking the people for everything and says it’s a pleasure to see the legends of lucha libre acknowledging Chessman, Texano Jr., and Cibernético. He thanks the legends for their contributions, and also thanks Marisela Peña and her family for AAA and the sword. Finally he thanks the crowd, calling them family and thanking them for their support and loyalty for accepting him with love. Now he turns his attention to the “shorty” Grande Americano from the U.S., and his fans will never understand what they have in Mexico. “One more thing…” He says the pride of Mexico is not about the color of your skin, but about the culture that it represents.

Out comes the AAA Mega Champion “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio to insert himself into the presentation. As the winner of the Rey de Reyes tournament, that does make El Grande Americano the #1 contender for the AAA Mega Championship. Dominik actually shakes El Grande Americano’s hand, and then congratulates him for winning the Rey de Reyes, “something that my father has never done.” (It’s awkward hearing Rey Mysterio translating what Dom is saying about him in Spanish, having to refer to himself in translation.) Rey himself says he wasn’t even there, so that’s why. Dom also points out that Rey Mysterio has also never won the AAA Mega Championship either. Dom questions Americano for winning Rey de Reyes and now coming after his championship. Dom asks him if he wants to go at it right now, Americano lunges forward to scare him out the ring, Dom says he’s changed and he’s not the same Americano.

The ORIGINAL El Grande Americano attacks the current Americano from behind! Dom wants no part of it as he backs off. Original EGA throws Americano into the steel steps, to the ringpost, and Dominik doesn’t look too concerned. Original rips at the mask, tearing it apart until Rayo and Bravo make the save coming to the aid of their Americano. Original takes the sacred SWORD and poses with it on top of the announce table of the Mexican commentators to close out week two of AAA Rey de Reyes 2026!
