Bad Bunny

Following his successful halftime show performance at Super Bowl LX (60), Bryan Alvarez said on Wrestling Observer Radio that Bad Bunny will return to WWE “sooner rather than later,” suggesting he might even be involved in WrestleMania this year. (WO) He previously made his in-ring debut at WrestleMania 37 and was praised at the time for his respect for professional wrestling and how seriously he trained and prepared for his role.

Last night Kofi Kingston had a free Super Bowl ticket thanks to the generosity of Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch, and was sure to thank both of them on social media for it.

Paul “Triple H” Levesque is receiving some blow back for the fact that advance ticket sales for WrestleMania 42 are down 18% from last year’s two day event which was also in Las Vegas. (WO) When you don’t book anything people want to see and charge life altering ticket prices people need to sell a kidney to afford, should it come as any surprise they’re down 18%? They should be down MORE.

Coincidentally within a 50 mile radius of Las Vegas you won’t be able to find a single bar or restaurant airing WrestleMania 42 — WWE/TKO are enforcing a blackout to try to encourage ticket sales. (FF)

Bron Breaker’s injury reportedly occurred when he flipped over the announce table on Raw. He’s already had hernia surgery and could be out at least eight weeks — perhaps longer, but WWE is “optimistic.” (WO) It certainly helps explain why he was eliminated from the Royal Rumble so quickly.

Speaking of injuries, WWE believes Chelsea Green suffered a bad bruise or deep muscle injury, but did not actually tear or break anything in her ankle, so that’s good news. (PWI)
