NEWCASTLE, ENGLAND (October 9, 2026) – BKB Bare Knuckle Boxing, the world’s largest professional bare knuckle boxing organization, makes its long-awaited debut in Newcastle, England for BKB 60, which takes place at the Utilita Arena Newcastle this Saturday, October 10. The stacked card will be headlined by one of the year’s most highly-anticipated world championship bouts.
“The fighters have put in the work, and now it’s time to deliver inside the Trigon. BKB 60 is set for a huge night in Newcastle, with a world title on the line and a stacked card ready to give the fans an unforgettable show.” said David Tetreault, CEO of BKB Bare Knuckle Boxing.
Reigning BKB Super Welterweight World Champion Rolando “Dy Incredible” Dy of the Philippines weighed in at 153.0 pounds, as he put his title on the line against one of BKB’s most experienced and decorated fighters.
“I’m ready to defend my title and show the fans in Newcastle what I bring to the Trigon. Scott is a tough opponent, but I’m confident in my abilities and prepared for whatever he brings on fight night. I’m coming to retain my championship and put on a great show.” said Rolando Dy.
Standing opposite Dy will be the United Kingdom’s own Scott “The Mute” McHugh, who also weighed in at 153.0 pounds for tomorrow night’s main event. McHugh will look to add a sixth world championship to his already impressive list of accomplishments.
“I’ve had some incredible nights inside the Trigon, and I’m hungry to add another chapter to that story. Rolando is a worthy champion, but I’m coming to Newcastle with my eyes on that belt and the chance to make it six world titles. I know what it takes to win at this level, and I’m ready to show it again.” said Scott McHugh.
Former Olympian and former IBF world champion Joseph “JoJo” Diaz Jr. went over the super lightweight limit for his return to the Trigon, coming in at 142.8 pounds against Brian Hyslop, who weighed in at 140.0 pounds.
Also on the card, undefeated international star Adel “Kyokushin” Altamimi weighed in at 154.6 pounds ahead of his clash with Tom “Tits” Mowbray, who tipped the scales at 152.0 pounds, in a super welterweight showdown with potential title implications.
