Dynamite opens with a recap of the end of Redemption, with added footage of the Death Riders backstage after Will Ospreay stood up to them. Mox yells at Will repeatedly “Get him before he gets you!” Then giving an “I told you so” after Omega hits Ospreay with a One Winged Angel.
Renee tries to get a word with Ospreay, but he says he can’t right now. The Death Riders approach him, Garcia tries to mouth off and gets levelled. Mox stops the rest of the group from retaliating, and Ospreay says Mox doesn’t get to pull the trigger for him, before handing back his Death Rider patch. Mox says it looks like Ospreay has it all figured out, then lets Ospreay walk by. Hangman Page walks up and says he knows how Ospreay feels, because he’s been there. He offers to be a friend, but Ospreay says he has enough on his plate, and can’t trust Kenny, therefore he can’t trust Hangman. Hangman gives one final piece of advice: You can be the best in the world, but sometimes the deciding factor is whether or not you believe you are.
Match One: AEW National Championship: Andrade (c) vs. Nick Wayne vs. Jack Perry

Tony Schiavone announces that Andrade will be in a qualifier next week in Mexico City for the #1 position in the Casino Gauntlet.
The Brawling Birds reassert their challenge to Divine Dominion, saying they talk too much. They also make a challenge for MIT on Collision.
Renee asks Don Callis if tonight is a good night to rebuild momentum. The Family all say yes, there’s some friction between Fletcher and Knight, until Okada walks in and says the International Championship will stay within the Family.

Backstage, Renee hosts a sit-down interview with the Bucks and Cope & Cage. The Bucks say their families will be there, and this is a dream match they never thought would happen. Adam Copeland says the feeling is mutual, and thanks the Bucks for keeping the flame alive for tag team wrestling during a period when it was often forgotten. Cage says this isn’t a retirement run, they’re out to prove that they’re still the best team not just of their era, but of today. The Bucks say that what’s on the line for them is the right to be the most decorated team in AEW history, and they’ve been trying to get the titles back for two years. Copeland says it took them 25 years to win tag gold again, a chunk of which was spent trying to get their careers back. The Bucks say they’re going to overwhelm the champs because they want it that much. Cage says it sounds like the Bucks are trying to talk themselves into it, and Copeland says people still doubt him and Cage. The Bucks say they’ve been written off their entire careers, but they’re still the best team in the world.

Mark Davis swears to wreak havoc for what happened at Redemption, and challenges Will Ospreay for next week in Mexico, even offering to leave the Don Callis Family behind.
Renee welcomes Willow Nightingale to the ring. She asks her what this means to her. Willow tears up from the ovation she gets, says she’s living her dream, and talks about being overlooked because of her unconventional approach. She runs down how many great moments she’s had in the past year, and thanks her mom for pulling her out of the depression she experienced when she was injured. She says this is proof for anyone out there who is struggling that they should never give up, because sometimes the comeback is even better than the dream.
Mercedes Mone interjects, says she’s just here to get the contract signed. Willow signs the contract, Mone throws the pen at her, they get in each other’s faces, Renee says it’s official. Willow says Mone is obsessed with the spotlight, but also says Mone’s angry that Willow keeps beating her, but even more angry that she has the one championship that Mone just hasn’t been able to win. Mone says the thing she hates the most about Willow is that she keeps interjecting herself into Mone’s career history. She says that the end result is that she made Willow, then they trash talk each other until Divine Dominion hit the ring. Willow fights them off for a bit, but the numbers catch up to her. Mone poses with the championship until the Brawling Birds chase the three of them off.

The Demand and Lethal Twist beat down The Conglomeration after the bell. Brody King runs out to try to even out the numbers, it doesn’t go well, Hangman Page comes out with a steel chair wrapped in barbed wire, chasing everyone off. Jay Lethal tries to take the chair away, ends up tasting it, then a Buckshot Lariat.
Backstage, Wheeler Yuta accepts the open challenge from the Bang Bang Gang. Daniel Garcia says Will Ospreay always leaves when things get too hard, but leaving the Death Riders will be harder than getting in. Jon Moxley mentions the as-of-yet undefined Continental Cup, but says he’s walking in and out as champion, but if he doesn’t, so be it.
Tony Schiavone welcomes Kenny Omega to the ring. Before Kenny can get a sentence out, Will Ospreay hits the ring. Kenny says that what he’s about to say needs to be heard only by Will Ospreay. He says that he showed Will Ospreay how he felt when he hit him with that One Winged Angel, but clearly Ospreay misunderstood, so now he’s going to spell it out. He says he cares about Will Ospreay, and remembers how they promised they would try their hardest, and Omega always put their friendship first, which is why he let Ospreay enter the Owen by himself, but Ospreay repaid him by saying he gave up on himself. He says Ospreay has never been in a position to talk down to him, and that’s exactly what he did when he rebuffed Omega’s warnings about the Death Riders. Ospreay admits that he came back too early from his neck injury, and it cost him his opportunity at revenge against Moxley. He says, in that moment, he had no friends. Omega starts to say that he would have been there had he asked, but Ospreay says that only Moxley was there for him. He admits that he liked being a Death Rider, but eventually he had to leave, because he didn’t share their philosophy. Omega described what it was like having the chair wrapped around his neck at Redemption, and that he knew by the sound of the crowd that Ospreay was out there. But then he said that, when he finally got to his feet, he could tell that Ospreay thought about putting the bag over his head. He says that Ospreay shouldn’t have thought he deserved a thank you for saving him from a trap that he set up. Omega slaps him repeatedly and says that Ospreay always crumbles under the pressure. Ospreay slaps him back, goes for a Hidden Blade, but stops short, saying that was Kenny’s only warning. He says that he’s given everything since he stepped into AEW, and now it’s the biggest challenge yet, but that’s what he needs. He says everyone is asking if he can pull the trigger, and yes he can, but he’s not going to do it like Kenny and hit him from behind, and he’s not going to do it like Mox and injure him beforehand, he’s going to beat Kenny at his best.
Dynamite goes off the air with Ospreay in the ring and Omega on the stage, staring each other down.
