On May 16th, Mercedes Martinez was inducted into the XICW (Xtreme Intense Championship Wrestling) Hall of Fame Class of 2026. The surprise ceremony took place after her win that night, which made her 3-0 in the company, 2 wins which came when the promotion ran Detroit’s historic Cobo Center. Video link below:
Mercedes was inducted by XICW & former SHIMMER referee Brian Gorie. XICW is the longest running independent professional wrestling company in Michigan’s history, beginning in October 2000.
