AAA’s Rey de Reyes is back for the third and final night/episode in Pueblo, Mexico! Tonight is week three, and we’ll one title match as the AAA Cruiserweight Championship will be on the line in a four corners match with Dragon Lee, TJP and Jack Cartwheel all challenging the champion Laredo Kid. In other action, El Fiscal takes on Abismo Negro. Also, El Hijo Del Vikingo calls out Penta! As we begin our third and final week of “Rey de Reyes” we see everyone involved in tonight’s matches and segments arriving at the arena earlier in the day.
* AAA World Cruiserweight Championship: Jack Cartwheel vs. TJ Perkins vs. Dragon Lee vs. Laredo Kid {C}
TJP goes after the champion first, then the other competitors get involved, he avoids double dropkicks, Laredo pulls him out the ring, then Cartwheel and Dragon Lee dropkick TJP and Laredo Kid off the apron. Cartwheel leaps off the apron on offense. TJP slips through the ropes, Laredo pulls him off the apron, Dragon hits a suicide dive, and Cartwheel hits an Asai moonsault onto Laredo and TJP. In the ring, Dragon catches TJP’s boot, Cartwheel takes him out from the top rope, Dragon fights him off, superkicks Laredo, and Cartwheel hits Dragon Lee with a neckbreaker. Laredo plants Cartwheel with a Michinoku Driver, connects with a corkscrew splash, and the cover gets broken up.
Dragon Lee delivers a German suplex to the champ, TJP breaks up the count, stomps on Dragon and Laredo, then locks in a double submission on Dragon and Laredo. Cartwheel breaks up the submission, cartwheels and backflips, then TJP launches Cartwheel to hit a double Pele Kick to Dragon and Laredo! TJP has Cartwheel one-on-one down in a corner, hits a running facewash, Cartwheel with a big boot to TJP, rolling senton to Laredo onto TJP, Dragon Lee throws Cartwheel over the ropes, Cartwheel lands with a stomp to TJP on the apron, sweeps Dragon Lee’s legs with a capoeira kick from the apron, and lands a twisting slingshot elbow drop. Laredo hits a flip-DDT to Cartwheel, TJP grabs Laredo for a saito suplex, Dragon hits TJP with a big kick, float-over sit-out powerbomb, and the cover gets broken up by Laredo and Cartwheel!
Dragon Lee is the first man up, TJP is thrown into the ropes, Laredo dropkicks him out the ring, Dragon clotheslines Laredo out the ring, Cartwheel lands on his feet from a snap German suplex, he dropkicks Lee out the ring, and hits a round-off backflip dive onto the whole group! Cartwheel gets Lee back into the ring, goes up top, TJP cuts him off and goes up top, but Laredo cuts him off as well. Laredo slaps Cartwheel on the chest, goes up top, Dragon gets underneath Laredo for a powerbomb, and Laredo pulls Cartwheel off the top with a superplex just as Dragon Lee powerbombs him! TJP sneaks in to cover Laredo, and Dragon breaks it up with a basement dropkick to his back.
All four men are down. Dragon and TJP exchange words, Dragon punches and slaps him on the chest, TJP with a jumping back kick, and Dragon answers with a pump knee. Dragon sets up Cartwheel on the ropes facing the crowd, TJP with a knee to Dragon’s back, drops him with the Detonation Kick, but Cartwheel connects onto TJP with a phoenix splash, Dragon catches Cartwheel on the rebound to hit the Styles Clash landing on TJP, and Dragon covers TJP until Laredo just BARELY makes the save!
Laredo and Dragon shove each other, snapmares, trade slaps on the chest, Laredo with a big slap, Dragon with a pump knee, Laredo hits the flip-DDT, but Dragon fires up and hits a sliding knee to the jaw! Laredo and Dragon battle in the ropes, Dragon sends him back, Laredo hits a gamengiri, goes up top, Cartwheel drops Laredo with a springboard powerbomb, hits Dragon with a backflip Pele kick, climbs up to him, Dragon blocks a victory roll, hangs him on the ropes and hits the double stomp to the back. Dragon plants Cartwheel with Operation Dragon, covers, 1-2-NO as TJP breaks it up with the Mamba Splash and steals the cover for the 1-2-NO as Laredo breaks up the count in time!!
Laredo and TJP trade shots, TJP with a combo kick, Laredo and Dragon both double superkick to TJP, Dragon blocks a sunset flip and double-stomps on Laredo. Dragon sets up in a corner, Laredo ducks as Dragon charges and hits Cartwheel with the running back elbow, Dragon with a snap German suplex to the champion, and hits a tope con hilo to Cartwheel on the outside. TJP is back in the ring with the championship, Laredo ducks the swing, TJP blocks the victory roll, grabs the ropes for leverage, and gets the 1-2-KICKOUT!! Laredo counters the Detonation Kick with the poison ‘rana, hits a big forearm smash in the corner, smashes his face into the mat, and covers for 1-2-3! WINNER and STILL AAA WORLD CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPION: LAREDO KID!!
Laredo Kid hoists his title in the air continuing his reign… Rey Fenix’s music plays and out comes the former Cruiserweight Champion! Fenix raises the champ’s hand in victory and points to the title as he wants next.
Las Toxicas are in their locker room praising Flammer for becoming the longest-reigning Reina de Reinas Champion in AAA history. They mention all the women she’s defeated for almost 1,000 days like Faby, Natalya, Lady Shani, and Dalys. Flammer says that after she beats Sussy Love and has defeated all the luchadoras in Mexico, she will have the biggest celebration for her on April 11th in Mexico City filled with celebrities, boys and bottles of expensive champagne from Paris.
Next we get a video package to show us the long-standing story of why Abismo Negro and El Fiscal are feuding.
* Abismo Negro Jr. vs. El Fiscal
Fiscal drops Abismo with a clothesline outside the ring before the bell. Fiscal throws him into the ring, the bell dings, the match is finally underway, Fiscal throws him out the ring, and hits a tope suicida! Fiscal throws him back into the ring, clotheslines in a corner, chops and punches, Abismo Negro blocks and sends him back, Fiscal hits a shuffle side kick, clotheslines him, and lets out a guttural roar. They trade punches, Fiscal with more chops and punches in a corner, Abismo reverses an Irish whip, Fiscal hits a back elbow, Abismo crotches him on the top rope, Fiscal falls into the tree of woe, and Abismo dropkicks him for a 2-count.
Abismo Negro chops him a few times, Fiscal with a big kick, dropkicks him, Abismo trips him into the ropes and clotheslines him. Abismo puts him in a rear chinlock, Fiscal gets to his feet, battles out, but Abismo chokes him on the ropes, and slaps him. Fiscal side-steps him in a corner, clotheslines him twice, running slam, slaps him across the face, pulls him up for the Tombstone, Abismo blocks it, and throws him into the ringpost. Abismo picks him up for the Tombstone, and Fiscal counters with a rollup for 3! WINNER: EL FISCAL!
El Fiscal celebrates, but Abismo Negro attacks him from behind and throws a tantrum throwing him around at ringside. Abismo Negro takes apart the announce table, throws Fiscal on the table, and HITS THE TOMBSTONE ON THE ANNOUNCE TABLE!!! The stretcher comes out for El Fiscal and they get him out of the arena.
Next week, Flammer puts her Reina de Reinas title on the line against Sussy Love. Also, El Mesías is slated to return to AAA.
* El Hijo Del Vikingo calls out Penta for a challenge
El Ojo (Dorian Roldán, Omos and El Hijo Del Vikingo) come out all dressed up and they head to the ring next. Dorian Roldán speaks first, praises Hijo Del Vikingo, and mocks the crowd. El Hijo Del Vikingo takes the mic now, and first speaks to Mini Vikingo reminding him that the last time they crossed paths, HDV put him in the hospital. He says the next time won’t be in the hospital; it’ll be in the morgue. Next Hijo Del Vikingo turns his attention to the crowd saying he’s gonna leave and they’ll miss him, and the crowd cheers for him leaving. He tells them is leaving for WrestleMania weekend, he’s going for the WWE Intercontinental Championship, and he calls out the champion Penta.
Penta comes out doing his Penta Walk, and he gets in the ring to confront El Ojo. Penta says that when he left AAA, El Hijo Del Vikingo was a good wrestler, but now he’s with a manager that turns everything he touches into waste. Penta tells him he needs to learn respect. Penta reminds him that when he left AAA they were fighting for a position. Penta says he’s not Dominik Mysterio, so he will bust him in his head, and accepts his challenge. Hijo Del Vikingo sets the date for April 11th in Mexico City, and Penta accepts then does his walk to annoy him. “¿Y sabes por qué? ¡Porque yo soy Penta el Cero Miedo!”
