Last Heavyweight Standing Finals set for February 7 at the GelreDome

It started with almost fifty heavyweights vying to put their name in the history books, now GLORY’s groundbreaking Last Heavyweight Standing will culminate on February 7 at the GelreDome soccer stadium in Arnhem, the Netherlands, with ‘GLORY 105: Last Heavyweight Standing Finals’.

The final eight will go head-to-head in a one-night grand prix style tournament that will truly crown the baddest heavyweight in combat sports today.

The qualified finalists are as follows:

  • ‘Big Sexy’ Nico Horta (26-10, 4 KO) | Cape Verde
  • ‘The Black Ghost’ Mory Kromah (35-3-1, 21 KO) | Guinea
  • Anis ‘Takamura’ Bouzid (48-4, 37 KO) | Morocco
  • Tariq ‘Cookie’ Osaro (29-4-1, 16 KO) | Nigeria
  • Sofian Laidouni (42-5-1, 20 KO) | France
  • ‘Serbian Samurai’ Milos Cvjeticanin (16-4, 9 KO) | Serbia
  • Decided at COLLISION 8 on December 13
  • Decided at COLLISION 8 on December 13

The final two entrants will be decided at GLORY COLLISION 8 on December 13 with Croatian superstar Antonio Plazibat taking on Nordine ‘The Bear’ Mahieddine (29-15, 13 KO) in a trilogy fight in the main event and the legendary ‘Bonecrusher’ Errol Zimmerman (111-20-1, 44 KO) colliding with Australian strongman champion Alex ‘The Spartan’ Simon (1-0, 1 KO) in the co-main.

“The Last Heavyweight Standing tournament has provided unpredictable moments and breakthrough performances over the past year,” said Marshall Zelaznik. “Every qualified heavyweight will have truly earned their spot in the finale but will now face the steepest hurdle to the top – the eight-man one-night tournament. Anything can happen on February 7; however, one thing is for certain, the winner will be undoubtedly the most dangerous stand-up striker in the world today.”
