It’s that time of year where things get spooky, just in time for Halloween Havoc! After losing his TNA Championship, Trick Williams challenges Ricky Saints for the NXT Championship! Jacy Jayne will defend her NXT Women’s Championship against the dark Tatum Paxley! The Hardy Boyz have gone BROKEN and look to make DarkState obsolete when they defend their NXT Tag Team Titles in a Broken Rules Match! The AAA Latin American Champion Hijo Del Dr. Wagner Jr. will challenge Ethan Page for the NXT North American Championship in a Day of the Dead Match. Zaria will defend Sol Ruca’s NXT Women’s North American Championship for her friend against Blake Monroe. We are live in Prescott Valley, Arizona and tonight will feature matches with NXT superstars, TNA wrestlers and AAA luchadors! We get an opening video package to show off all involved in tonight’s matches. “Welcome to Halloween Havoc.” Vic Joseph and Booker T are the commentators for the event.
* Je’Von Evans & Leon Slater {TNA X Division Champion} vs. La Parka & Mr. Iguana {AAA Mixed Tag Champion}
Evans and La Parka start the match, they lock up collar-and-elbow, Evans takes an arm, Parka reverses, they clothesline each other to a stalemate, La Parka dances, they trade punches, Evans bounces off the ropes for an armdrag, Parka lands on his feet and kicks him in the head. La Parka flips out the corner, Evans does the bouncy headscissors, they both knock each other and kip up simultaneously, then both sides tag. Iguana gives Slater an armdrag, Slater with a shoulder block, Iguana leapfrogs over him, Slater hits an enzuigiri, Iguana ducks a kick, quick back-and-forth, and another stalemate. Iguana goes up top, Slater catches him off a crossbody, hits a handspring back elbow, Evans tags in, double pop-up drop, they drag him away, Iguana catches Slater with an enzuigiri and tags out.
La Parka does a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker, throws both men out the ring, Iguana tosses La Yeska at them, hits a tope con hilo, La Parka goes up top, walks the top rope and hits a high moonsault to the floor! La Parka covers Evans in the ring for the first 2-count of the match, military press gutbuster, covers for another 2-count, tags out, body slams him, and knocks Slater off the apron. Iguana ties up Evans, sits on his back, tags out, Parka hits a springboard basement dropkick, and covers for 2. Evans battles back, Parka fights back, Evans hits a low springboard snap German suplex, Parka blocks his tag reach, and both men are down before making the hot tags.
Slater dropkicks Iguana, hits the tornado DDT, spinning suplex, and covers for 2.5 with the crowd chanting “TNA! TNA! TNA!” and then chanting “Triple A! Triple A! Triple A! Evans tags back in, hits a forearm smash, hits the bouncy flip kick, and covers for 2. Evans suplexes Iguana, dances like La Parka, Iguana up-kicks him, floats over with an armbar, and Evans counters with a dead-lift buckle bomb. Slater tags in, Parka gets the tag, clotheslines both men, flapjack to Evans, catches Slater off a springboard crossbody, dances into a swinging powerslam, and gets a 2-count. La Parka picks him up, Slater slips off, chops him, La Parka takes his glove off, slaps him hard on the chest, more chops, Evans tags in, Parka slaps him on the chest too, Evans superkicks him, Iguana is tagged in and he’s ready for chops. Evans opens his vest, slaps him on the chest, Slater tags in, Iguana is back up, challenges both of them, calls for La Yeska and slaps them with it. Iguana with a diving headscissors to Evans, Slater hits a big boot, Parka tags him, Slater kicks him in mid-air, and covers for 2.
Slater dumps both men out the ring, hits a flip dive over the ringpost onto both men, throws Parka back into the ring, goes up top, lands the high crossbody, Evans tags in, hits a diving frog splash halfway across the ring, and covers for 2.5! La Yeska creeps up behind both men, smacks Evans, Slater punches Iguana, Evans hits a cutter, Slater slams La Parka with Utopia, Iguana kicks Evans, smacks Slater with La Yeska, La Parka hits a twisting brainbuster, and Evans breaks up the count by shoving Iguana onto them! La Parka delivers a stalling suplex to Evans, Iguana tags in, they go up top, Evans cuts them off, climbs up, they shove him down, Slater is back in, Iguana hits him with a springboard headbutt, both Iguana and Evans do empty springboards, and Slater catches Parka diving off the top with a cutter! Evans tags out, hits a dive onto La Parka outside the ring, Slater hits the SWANTON 450, and gets the 3-count! WINNERS: JE’VON EVANS & LEON SLATER!
And that was just the opening match!
Backstage, Zaria is trying to talk positivity to an injured Sol Ruca, stating that the doctor has at least cleared her to be ringside for the match. Izzi Dame and Tatum Paxley show up to talk some mess, hoping for a victory on their behalf later on.
* NXT North American Championship – Day of the Dead Match:
El Hijo Del Dr. Wagner Jr. {AAA Latin American Champion} vs. Ethan Page {C}
Time for the first title match of the night, and this is a “Day of the Dead Match” which basically means that anything goes. Hijo Del Dr. Wagner Jr. goes on the attack early on beating him up in a corner, but Page grabs him by the mask until HDDWJ kicks him away and sends him out the ring. Wagner III takes a chair from under the ring to smack him, lays him across the announce table, Page gets off and back into the ring with the chair, Wagner hits a missile dropkick, and covers for 2. Wagner hits a discus forearm smash in a corner, hits a high knee, ties him up like a pretzel, places a chair against his rear end, and hits a basement dropkick to hurt the tailbone.
Wagner brings in a trash can, hits him on the back, Page blocks a powerbomb, hits a back elbow, Wagner hits him with the trash can again, Page counters a tornado DDT, boots him in the face, flips him over onto the can, hits the Confidence Breaker with the trash can lid, and covers for 2. Page hits him with the lid over and over, Wagner boots him in the face, Page reverses an Irish whip, tosses him onto the apron, hits him in the midsection with the chair, wedges it in the ropes and rams his head into it. They battle in the entranceway, Wagner sends him into the barricade, Page hits him with a skeleton’s leg, Wagner slams his head on the steel steps, a bloody Page interrupts him from bringing out a table, and trips him throat-first onto the bar of the table leg.
Page puts the table in the ring, sends him into the steel steps, whacks him on the back with a chair, throws him back into the ring, wedges two chairs in opposite turnbuckles, hits him with another chair, sends him into the wedged chairs, hits a sidewalk slam onto an open chair, and covers for a near-fall. Page rips open Wagner’s mask, and that makes Wagner flip a switch from that sacrilege! Wagner hits a running headbutt, a clothesline, jumping clothesline, quick strikes, Eat Defeat, springboard lungblower, and covers for a near-fall. Wagner clotheslines him in a corner, hits a gamengiri, places a trash can next to Page’s head, goes up top, and hits the Coast 2 Coast dropkick! Wagner makes the cover, and gets a near-fall. “This is awesome! This is awesome!”
Wagner picks him up in the electric chair, Page messes with the mask, sends him head-first into the steel chair still wedged, delivers the Ego’s Edge onto the trash can, and covers for 2.9!! Page opens up a chair, sets him up on the top turnbuckle, Wagner counters a powerbomb with the hurricanrana off the top rope, and Page crashes onto the chair! Wagner covers for 2, hits a springboard moonsault (similar to the Prettiest Moonsault Ever), covers for another near-fall, and now finally sets up the table. Wagner sets him up top, Page fights him off, both men battle in the ropes, Wagner pops up top, Page slips under, Wagner fights him off, Page turns the mask around, throws powder in his eyes, hits the TWISTED GRIN OFF THE TOP THROUGH THE TABLE, and covers for 3 to retain his title!!! WINNER and STILL NXT North American Champion: ETHAN PAGE!!
Kelani Jordan is in her own locker room watching TV with the TNA Knockouts Championship on her shoulder. Jordynne Grace comes in dressed as Velma, and Kelani gives her an attitude. Jordynne wants to know what her beef with her is, and Kelani mocks her for not having the championship. Kelani plans to talk to Santino about her next challenger, keeps running her mouth, and Jordynne slaps her.
We get a commercial for NXT: Gold Rush happening as a two-week special event. Championships from NXT, TNA, AAA and Evolve will all be defended on this big event on Tuesday, November 18th and Tuesday, November 25th on the CW and taking place at The Theater at Madison Square Garden.
* NXT Women’s North American Championship: Blake Monroe vs. Zaria **
** Zaria is representing the injured champion Sol Ruca for this match.
Blake jumps her at the bell, but Zaria quickly overpowers her to take control. Zaria gets a 1-count after a pump kick, Blake counters a slam, jumps on her back, Zaria throws her down, slams her head on the top turnbuckle, and Sol Ruca cheers on Zaria at ringside. Blake yanks her arm throw the ropes, goes to work attacking the left arm, hammerlocks her and rams her shoulder into the turnbuckles. Zaria cuts her off on the turnbuckle, but Blake slaps on the armbar over the ropes and she mocks the actual champion. Blake hits a missile dropkick, covers, gets a 2-count, floats over with an armbar, and kicks her in the head.
Zaria blocks the double-arm DDT, gives her a back body drop, clotheslines her, hits a back elbow, clothesline, hits a pump kick, and delivers a back suplex. Sol Ruca cheers her partner on, Zaria picks her up, Blake attacks the arm, Zaria with a modified exploder suplex, and gets a 2-count. Zaria picks her up in the torture rack, Blake counters into a cross armbreaker, Zaria rolls over into a dead-lift, and plants her with the sit-out powerbomb. The crowd randomly chants Booker T’s name.
Both women trade shots, Blake hits a sling blade, Zaria with a pump kick, and both women headbutt each other. Blake side-steps her in front of the steel steps, Zaria crashes into the steel, cries for her shoulder in pain, Sol encourages her, and shoves her into the ringpost to pop her shoulder back into place! Zaria gets back in the ring, delivers a German suplex, another German suplex, and hits the spear! Zaria picks her up, Blake counters the F5 into the Fujiwara armbar, Zaria crawls to the ropes, Zaria counters with a roll-up for 2, Blake hits the big kneelift to the jaw, and covers for a near-fall. Blake secretly has a hair pick in her hand, Zaria hits the SPEAR, and covers for 1-2-KICKOUT!
Blake rolls out the ring, Zaria rolls out, goes after her, Blake kicks the can friom under Sol Rica, Zaria knocks Monroe down, exits the ring to check on her partner, Blake attacks her from behind, hits the GLAMOUR SHOT double-arm DDT on the floor, rolls her back into the ring, hits another GLAMOUR SHOT, and covers 3 to win the title! WINNER and NEW NXT Women’s North American Champion: BLAKE MONROE!!
Sol Ruca is NO LONGER a double champion! Blake Monroe is the new NXT Women’s North American Champion! At least Sol Ruca is still the current WWE Women’s Speed Champion.
Backstage, Wren Sinclair is recounting a story to Karmen Petrovic and the Evolve Women’s Champion Kendal Grey with Charlie Dempsey on a video call. Lash Legend shows up to talk trash, Kendal challenges Lash to a match this Tuesday, and is even willing to put her Evolve Women’s Championship on the line.
The Culling head to the ring next as Tatum Paxley challenges for the women’s title, Fatal Influence head out next in full, and Mike Rome does the proper title match introductions.
* NXT Women’s Championship: Tatum Paxley vs. Jacy Jayne {C}
The bell dings, the match is underway, nobody rushes in, they lock up, Jacy takes the arm, Tatum tries many ways to counter or escape but Jayne keeps her down, Tatum finds a way back up, but Jacy hits a shoulder block. Tatum does the drop-down, but Jacy hits a senton across her back, slaps her, side headlock, Tatum leapfrogs her, avoids the senton, and hits a shoulder block. Jacy grabs her leg, Tatum covers for 2, Jacy counters for 2, armdrag, ducks a clothesline, running hurricanrana, Tatum splashes her in a corner, hits a jumping elbow drop, and gets a 1-count. Tatum puts her in the Gory Special, backslides for a 2-count, and holds her in a submission until Jacy kicks her off. Tatum hits a dropkick, gets tossed onto the apron, drops down and hits a jumping enzuigiri. Jacy traps her in the ring apron, Tatum fights her off, disappears, shows up behind them, Jacy catches her, and catapults her into the steel girders underneath the ring!
Jacy gets her back into the ring, hits a running neckbreaker, covers for 2, slams her head into the top turnbuckles, beats her down, and stomps her down. Lainey Reid gets in some cheap shots behind the ref’s back, Jacy hits the cannonball, hits a running elbow, covers for 2, then locks in the head scissors in the middle of the ring. Tatum fights back, Jacy hits a knee-to-facebuster, clotheslines her, covers for 2, then puts her in a chinlock as the crowd chants that Jacy sucks. Tatum gets back to her feet to break the hold, Jacy puts her in a sleeper, but Tatum escapes for her own sleeper, Jacy pushes her off, and Tatum hits a back suplex.
Tatum knocks her down, hits the step-up enzuigiri, delivers an arm-trapped fisherman’s suplex, goes up top, and Jacy shakes the ropes. Jacy hits a gamengiri kick, goes up top to her challenger, and hits a swinging neckbreaker off the top rope! Shawn Spears places Paxley’s leg on the bottom rope to stop the count, Lainey Reid hits a diving crossbody onto Shawn Spears and Nico Vance, Izzi Dame hits Reid with the big boot, and Fallon Henley hits the swinging kick around the ringpost to Dame! The fight and choas at ringside causes referee Chip Danning to EJECT EVERYONE from ringside!
Jacy freaks out, Tatum rolls her up for 2, Jacy hits the pump knee to the jaw, and covers for 2. “Let’s go Tatum! Let’s go Tatum!” Jacy goes for another catapult in the ropes, Tatum kicks her off, does a crucifix pin for 2, Jacy counters Cemetery Drive with a roll-up for 2, and hits the step-up enzuigiri. Tatum avoids the cannonball, hits the discus forearm smash, goes up top, hits the 450 Splash, and covers for 2.5!! Jacy blocks the Cemetary Drive by grabbing the ropes, kicks her off, hits a knee in the ropes, drops her with a neckbreaker in the ropes, Tatum blocks the soccer kick, and does an electric chair drop onto the apron. Back in the ring, Tatum superkicks her, rolls her up for 2, they trade forearm smashes to BOOs and YAYs from the crowd, and they both kick each other down.
Shawn Spears and Nico Vance head back down to ringside but the ref’s try to stop them until Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid jump on their backs. Meanwhile, Izzi Dame sneaks in the ring with the title in her hands, goes to swing at one of them, Tatum ducks, but Jacy drops Dame with the Rolling Encore! Tatum hits Jayne with CEMETERY DRIVE in the middle of the ring, covers, the ref is late, and still counts the 1-2-3!!! WINNER and NEW NXT WOMEN’S CHAMPION: TATUM PAXLEY!!!!
WOW!! What a shocking win! The Culling celebrate in the ring, and Izzi Dame is only slightly smiling. Tatum Paxley is the new NXT Women’s Champion!!!
Backstage, Myles Borne is talking with NXT General Manager Ava in her office complaining about NXT Anonymous eavesdropping on his conversation with Tavion Heights until Josh Briggs got in their business. Tavion then bursts into Ava’s office wanting a match with Briggs right after Myles asked for it. Instead, Ava books the match of Myles Borne vs. Tavion Heights and the winner faces Briggs. “May the best man win.”
* NXT Tag Team Championship – Broken Rules Match:
DarkState vs. The Hardy Boyz {C} {TNA Tag Team Champions}
All four members of DarkState surround the ring at the start, and the two members of The Broken Hardy Boyz fight them off. Dion Lennox and Osiris Griffin stay in the ring to represent as the match is underway. Brother Nero dropkicks Lennox in the back, he hits a clothesline to Griffin after jumping off of Broken Matt’s back, and they plant him with a double DDT. Matt covers for 2, he hits the Side Effect to Lennox, Jeffrey Nero hits a splash from the middle ropes, and gets a 2-count. Saquon Shugars attacks Matt, Cutler James gives Jeff a gutbuster, and now all four men are going to work attacking the champions. The Hardys wrestler chairs away from Lennox and Griffin, they hit them with chairs, and they hit Shugars and James with the chairs as well. Jeff back-drops Griffin out the ring and he barely misses the table at ringside. Matt plants Lennox with the TWIST OF FATE with the chair around his head! Jeff plants Griffin with the suplex THROUGH THE TABLE! Matt makes the cover in the ring and James breaks up the count.
James attacks Matt at ringside, slams his head on the apron, Shugars joins him in the attack, Jeff hits James and Shugars with the chair, throws the chair at Shugar’s head, Matt attacks them with a ladder, and Jeff jumps off the stairs for a double clothesline. Broken Matt and Brother Nero continue the attack with weapons, Nero sets up a table, Matt throws Shugars into the ringpost, Brother Nero grabs another table, Matt slams James’s head on the steel steps, grabs a ladder nearby, lays James on a table, Nero puts Shugars on the other table, Matt climbs a ladder, Brother Nero gets on the turnbuckles, and he hits Shugars with a SWANTON BOMB THROUGH THE TABLE, as Broken Matt hits James with a DIVING LEGDROP THROUGH THE TABLE!!
Lennox and Griffin come back alive and they pick at the pieces of the Broken brothers. The challenges throw more weapons into the ring, Lennox hits them with a kendo stick, Griffin sends Nero into a wedged chair in the turnbuckles, Lennox hits Matt with a trash can lid, and Griffin body slams Nero onto a trash can. Lennox brings a ladder into the ring, leans it against the turnbuckles, and hits a running powerslam! Griffin and Lennox hit the 3-D, Lennox covers, and gets 2.9! Brother Nero is back in the ring with two kendo sticks on the attack, hits Lennox on the back outside the ring, Lennox clotheslines both of them, then leaps over the barricade to clothesline Matt in the timekeeper’s area, Nero gets to his feet, and Griffin tackles him through the barricade!
All four men are back in the ring, Jeff Nero hits Griffin with the TWIST OF HATE, then Matt hits him with the TWIST OF FATE! Nero goes up top, hits the SWANTON BOMB, covers, 1-2-NO as Lennox breaks up the count! Now Lennox seals his fate as the Hardyz hit the Plot Twist combination, Matt covers, and Lennox kicks out at 2.9! Brother Nero brings the tallest ladder closer to the ring, Matt brings a table close to the ladder, Jeff has another table, and Matt cleans the area and throws a piece of a broken table at Shugars and James. The Broken brothers attack Griffin and place him on a table, Nero goes all the way up the tall ladder, stands at the top, and goes for the SWANTON BOMB but Griffin rolled off the table!!
Broken Matt goes after Lennox in the ring with a trash can lid, but Lennox plants him with a spinebuster and covers for 2.9! Lennox sets up a table in the ring, Matt gets to his feet, Lennox places him on the table, goes up top, Matt gets back up to cut him off, sets up for a superplex, Lennox blocks it, Griffin stops Hardy, but Matt fights back, Lennox comes from behind, Matt fights him off and throws him out the ring. Griffin goes on the attack, puts him in the tree of woe, Lennox talks trash to his brother, Jeff fights back, Griffin grabs him in the electric chair, Lennox climbs up the ladder outside the ring, and hits the DARKSTATE DOOMSDAY DEVICE from the ladder into the ring and through the table!! Matt is still in the tree of woe, Lennox covers Nero, and gets the 1-2-3 to win the titles back!!! WINNERS and NEW NXT TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS: DARKSTATE!!
DarkState are now 2-time NXT Tag Team Champions, defeating The Hardy Boyz in their own match! Backstage, Leon Slater and Je’Von Evans are disappointed in that result. Slater ponders if they should’ve gone out there to help their heroes The Hardy Boyz, but Evans reminds him that they wanted to do it on their own. Evans remembers that they have unfinished business with DarkState after they interrupted their match at TNA Bound for Glory weeks ago. They decide to go after the NXT Tag Team Titles, and Slater promises that after his TNA X Division Championship obligations he’s locked in on that idea.

We’ve just witnessed three championships change hands for three matches in a row. Will this main event be the fourth? Trick (or treat) Williams heads to the ring first, Ricky Saints comes out second with the title, and ring announcer Mike Rome does the proper title match introductions.

Right at the bell, Trick Williams hits a leaping clothesline! Williams tells him he’s going through the announce table, dropkicks him, throws him out the ring in front of the table, Saints gets back into the ring, and WIlliams is upset he isn’t at the table. Trick throws him out the ring again, slams his head on the table, takes off the cover, clears the table, and Ricky crawled under the ring while he was clearing off the table. Ricky is already back in the ring and poses, attacks him as he slides into the ring, chops him on the chest, running armdrag, hiptoss is blocked, Saints skins the cat, Trick mocks the pose and does a capoeira move, and Saints takes advantage dumping him out the ring.
Williams clotheslines him at ringside, clears the table some more, Saints fights back, rakes his eyes, sends him into the barricade, into the ringpost, into the barricade, slams his head on the announce table, and back into the ring. Williams hits the crescent kick, covers for 2, flapjack, covers for 2, and he is developing a cut over his right eye. Trick puts him in a front facelock, Ricky shoves him into the ring, sets him up on the top rope, chops him, sets up for a superplex, Williams blocks him, shoves him down, hits a blockbuster off the middle ropes, and covers for a near-fall. Williams puts him back in the front facelock, delivers a suplex, another suplex, and Saints counters the third with a suplex of his own. Williams chops him in the throat, hits a roundhouse kick, hits the jumping neckbreaker, and covers for a near-fall.
Saints fights out of the front facelock, hits a Samoan drop, Williams is back up first in a corner, Saints hits a back elbow in the corner, walks the ropes for a Russian legsweep, inverted atomic drop, clotheslines him twice, hits a reverse DDT, and covers for 2. Saints drags him into position, lands on his feet from a springboard moonsault as Trick rolls away, Williams counters a hurricanrana with the Boston crab, stomps on him, plants him with the Urinage, floats him over, plants him with the Book End, and covers for the near-fall. Saints catches him with the inside cradle for 2, Williams with a death valley drop, and covers for 2.

Both men are down, Saints gets to his feet, Williams grabs his leg, Saints stomps on him, fights back with forearms, Williams hits the capoeira kick, counters the sunset flip for 2, hits a pump kick, Saints counters the death valley drop with a jawbreaker, hits the spear, hits the tornado DDT, and covers for 1-2-3! WINNER and STILL NXT CHAMPION: RICKY SAINTS!
