AJ Styles

In this interview (which is on YouTube but is geo-blocked in the United States) AJ Styles talks about wrestling John Cena at Crown Jewel and his plans to retire: “I am certainly happy for the opportunity to wrestle John Cena on his retirement tour. I did not think this was going to happen. It honestly just came out of nowhere, but I accept it. I want it, and me and John are going to have one last match, and it’s going to be incredible. I honestly thought I may not be here in the WWE, so getting the opportunity to come back (to Japan) is really awesome. Probably my last time as a performer going back to Japan. I’m really excited to get back. That means I’m going to hang them up. I’m not going to wrestle anymore. Soon I’ll retire, and I don’t think we’ll get back to Japan before I retire. I think that this is probably my last go in Japan as a performer.”

Speaking of Cena his last match will be at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.

Chris Jericho on where the phrase “ass clown” came from: “Ass clown came from, there was a movie called Office Space. But I don’t know if I took that from the movie. I’m not saying they took it from me, but I seem to remember saying it just stringing two stupid words together, ass clown. So I didn’t steal it from Office Space. But subconsciously, maybe I heard it and didn’t realize it. But either way, either it was Office Space or Chris Jericho. So we’ll go with a combination of the two.”
