9/12/2025. The two worlds collide as the luchadores of AAA battle the WWE superstars! We’ll get plenty of in-ring action now that WWE has acquired Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide and a unity has made this show a dream come true for a lot of people. We’ll see championships on the line tonight as the AAA luchadores defend against WWE superstars. Who will survive when these Worlds Collide? For the opening, we get the National Anthems sung for Mexico and America.
Penta heads to the ring and welcomes us to Worlds Collide, and says tonight is special for him and others because they will also celebrate Independencia de Mexico this weekend! He is excited that WWE and AAA has made this possible for all to enjoy. Penta adds that he has news… he plans to do what he never did in his career in Mexico, and that’s to win the AAA Mega Championship! He doesn’t care who wins tonight, but he will fight through blood, sweat and tears to become the champion. “Porque yo soy Penta el Cero Miedo!”
Corey Graves, JBL and Konnan will be the commentators for the English announce table, as Marcelo Rodriguez is joined by the AAA announcer team for the Spanish announce table.

This match is just complete non-stop action from all eight luchadors. Plenty of dancing, flips, dives, and suplexes abound. Mascarita Sagrada was the MVP of the match for sure. The finish happens when each men makes a dive to the outside as the target group gets bigger. Sagrada gets the win from a tilt-a-whirl schoolboy rollup. WINNERS: OCTAGóN JR., LAREDO KID, LA PARKA & MASCARITA SAGRADA!
* #1 Contender’s Match for the AAA Reina de Reinas Title: Faby Apache vs. Natalya
Even this is a #1 contender’s match, this is also a grudge match as these two women have been at each other’s throats. They trade waistlock switches, Faby puts her in a deathlock submission early on, Natalya counters, side headlock, hits a couple of shoulder blocks, but Faby doesn’t fall and she just slaps her. Faby dropkicks her, Natalya hits the discus clothesline, covers for 2, and starts swinging fists! Natalya beats her down in a corner, drops her on her tailbone, kick to the jaw, gets a 2-count, then puts her in a rear chinlock. Natalya starts to work over the leg, sets her up, and locks in the surfboard. She kicks Apache in the back and yells at the crowd, but Faby rolls her up in an inside cradle for 2, Natalya punches her, and hits short-arm clotheslines.
Faby stands her ground, slaps her again, hits a running hurricanrana, goes up top, hits a diving crosbsody, big boot, covers and gets a 2-count. Faby goes for an armbar, Natalya fights to block, rolls through for 2, Faby locks in the body scissors, Natalya punches her, Faby headbutts her and applies the guillotine at the same time as the body lock. Natalya gets to her feet, slams her back down, puts her in the ankle lock, Faby counters for her own ankle lock. The referee checks on Natalya but she doesn’t submit, in fact she kicks her off, but Faby kicks her in the face for a 2-count. Faby goes for the Sharpshooter, but Nattie kicks her off, O’Connor roll for 2, Faby reverses for 2, Faby with a victory roll, but Natalya reverses for 3! WINNER and #1 Contender for AAA Reina de Reinas Title: NATALYA!
Post-match they get face-to-face about to scrap again but the ref tries his damnedest to separate them.
We get a video promo of WrestleMania 42 repeating in Las Vegas in 2026, then we get headlines that WWE announces WrestleMania 43 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in 2027!
Backstage, Chuey Martinez interviews The New Day ahead of their tag title match. Kofi Kingston says they feel shunned by Adam Pearce on Raw, so they came to AAA to try to win their titles. Xavier Woods breaks the news that he had surgery on his head so he is unable to compete for the AAA Tag Team Championships. Instead, Grayson Waller will be taking Xavier’s place in the match – not because Xavier is afraid of clowns.
* AAA World Tag Team Championship: Pagano & Psycho Clown {C} vs. Grayson Waller & Kofi Kingston
Psycho starts the match with Waller, they chain wrestle at the beginning, Waller with an arm wringer and he exits the ring to cheer with Woods while berating the fans. Waller gets back in the ring, chain wrestle again, Psycho does an arm wringer, and he goes out to cheer with Woods who is oblivious that’s not Waller. Once Woods realizes it’s Psycho Clown he hilariously freaks out. Back in the ring, Psycho Clown hits the shoulder block, running headscissors, Waller does a springboard armdrag, they do lucha moves and flips to a stalemate. Waller punches him after they shake hands, and Psycho comes back with a big kick.
Pagano tags in, savate kick to the midsection, hits a running blockbuster, dropkicks him, gets on the middle ropes, and Waller rolls away to tag out. They lock up collar-and-elbow, Kofi Kingston chain wrestles into a side headlock and arm wrench, Pagano counters with arm wringers, one for Waller, monkey flip to Kofi who avoids crashing down, and powerslams him. Psycho Clown tags in, they double team on Kingston with kicks, double basement dropkick, Psycho hits a split-legged moonsault, and gets a 2-count. Waller gets in a cheap shot behind the ref’s back, and Kofi pounces on the attack allowing the heels to get the upper hand. Xavier and Kofi teach Grayson the Unicorn Stomps in the corner, Waller hits a running dropkick, covers for 2, then puts him in a cravate. Psycho fights both men off, crawls to his corner, but Pagano is on the floor after being knocked down by Waller beforehand. Kingston hits a big knee, Waller gets a 2-count, Kingston tags in, and they pummel him down for a 2-count. Kingston puts him on the top turnbuckle, rips at the mask, Psycho drops him, superkicks Waller, and lands on Kingston with a diving crossbody! Kofi grabs his foot, Psycho hits the enzuigiri, and makes the hot tag!
Pagano beats down Kingston, high knee lift, boot to Kingston, swinging neckbreaker to Waller, grabs Kingston for a powerslam, covers for 2.5, and Psycho Clown tags in. Pagano hits a tope con hiro to Waller, Psycho hits a suicide dive from the apron through the ropes to Kingston, all four men are back in the ring, the clowns are in control, meteora and hesitation dropkicks, and Waller breaks up the count. Psycho dumps Waller out the ring, Pagano tags in, Woods is on the apron to distract him, Kingston takes advantage with a superplex, Waller hits the crossover elbow drop, and covers for a near-fall. Waller sets him up top, Woods gets on the apron to distract the ref as Kofi steps in, but Psycho Clown smacks him and Waller with a leather belt. Psycho Clown rips off his top mask to reveal a scarier one to frighten Woods, and Woods runs away! Psycho gets the tag, the champs hit dueling Mexican Destroyers, Pagano hits the springboard plancha, Psycho punches Waller, applies la majistral cradle, and gets the 3-count! WINNERS and STILL AAA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS: PSYCHO CLOWN & PAGANO!
Vera Rodriguez is in the ring to interview the champions, but the lights quickly go out… IT’S THE WYATT SICK6!! Uncle Howdy comes out with Nikki Cross, Erick Rowan and the WWE Tag Team Champions Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis to surround the ring! Psycho Clown and Pagano make the first strike but they quickly get beat down and destroyed by the . Nikki even gets in on the action with a diving Thesz Press to Psycho Clown, as Erick smacks Pagano in the face with the steel steps. Gacy hits Psycho with a death valley driver, Rowan sets up a table at ringside, lays Pagano on it, and Lumis hits a diving legdrop to Pagano through the table!! Rowan gets in the ring as Gacy sets another table up leaning in a corner, and Rowan powerbombs Psycho Clown through the table!! Pagano is brought into the ring, and Uncle Howdy hits him with SISTER ABIGAIL ONTO A CHAIR!! Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis hold up their WWE Tag Team Championships, while Erick Rowan holds up the AAA World Tag Team Championships, as Nikki Cross and Uncle Howdy are gleeful in front. Statement made!
Charlotte Flair is spotted in the crowd, and we get word that Charlotte and Alexa Bliss head to Full Sail University for NXT Homecoming this Tuesday to defend their WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships against Tatum Paxley and Izzi Dame. Jacy Jayne is shown in the crowd for the next match, and she will defend her NXT Women’s Championship against Lola Vice at WWE’s NXT No Mercy on September 27th.
* Mixed Tag Team Match: Lola Vice & Mr. Iguana {AAA Mixed Tag Team Champion} vs. Judgment Day
Raquel Rodriguez accompanies Finn Bálor and Roxanne Perez to the ring for their match to support her Judgment Day teammates. Finn Bálor has the World Tag Team Championship around his waist and he is carrying a bag with him, which JBL freaks out about (especially having his own lizard bout in Japan). Mr. Iguana and Bálor start the match with lucha moves, and the crowd chants Iguana’s name. Bálor goes for the bag early, Iguana dropkicks him, picks up the bag, flings it under the ring proud of himself, hits the iguana-rana, and tags out. Lola puts up her dukes, Bálor does as well, but he backs up and cowers after teasing her dangerous kicks. Roxanne Perez slams her down from behind, ducks out the ring, Lola gives chase and hits a shoulder block. Lola counters a hiptoss into a cross armbreaker, Roxanne counters for 2, slaps her, Lola slams her down, chops and kicks to slump her in a corner, Bálor saves Roxanne from the hip attack, so Lola hits a cannonball onto both from the apron. Lola drags Roxanne back into the ring, along with Finn, Iguana tags in, and he hits Bálor with a diving crossbody for 2.
Raquel finally makes her presence felt by tripping and pulling Iguana out the ring, and she drops him face-first onto the apron – all behind the ref’s back. Bálor takes control of the match from here on, including a back elbow for a 2-count, he body slams him, Iguana pops up with an armdrag, tries to make the tag, but Bálor catches him, drops him, and gets a 2-count. EL DEMONITO pops up from under the ring!! Bálor asks, “What are you doing? Demonito, be careful, you’re gonna get hurt.” Iguana dropkicks him and crawls toward his corner to make the hot tag!
Lola kicks Roxanne down, rapid kicks to slump her in the corner, hits the running hip attack, delivers a saito suplex, and covers for 2. Roxanne pulls the apron skirt as she’s being dragged away, rakes the eyes behind the ref’s back, dropkicks her in the back, hits the running uppercut to the spine, connects with the double springboard moonsault, and gets a 2-count. Lola goes for a rear naked choke, Roxanne blocks it, wails on her, sets her up on the top turnbuckle, Iguana tosses La Yesca to Roxanne to distract her, and Lola follows up with an armbreaker from the middle ropes. Iguana checks on La Yesca, Bálor comes back in with the bag, Iguana uses La Yesca to attack him, hits a springboard headbutt, checks inside the bag, but Bálor stands behind him with Demonito! Bálor hits the sling blade, shotgun dropkick, goes up top with Demonito on his back, and Lola crotches him on the top. Iguana hits a springboard hurricanrana from the top, Lola superkicks him, and LA YESCA HITS A TOPE SUICIDA TO DEMONITO!!! Iguana dives onto Bálor with the plancha as well. Lola blocks the Pop Rox, Raquel gets on the apron, Lola kicks her down, Roxanne rolls her up with her feet on the ropes, Lola hits the BACKFIST, and covers for 3!! WINNERS: LOLA VICE & MR. IGUANA!
Lola Vice is on a roll, but Jacy Jayne is not impressed, so Lola taunts the NXT Women’s Champion with her dance. We get a promo video for WWE WrestlePalooza next Saturday at 7PM on ESPN+ in the United States and on Netflix internationally.
* AAA Latin American Championship: Dragon Lee vs. “All Ego” Ethan Page {NXT North American Champion} vs. JD McDonagh {World Tag Team Champion} vs. Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. {C}
Dragon Lee and McDonagh strike each other first before Page shoves them out the ring. Page and Wagner battle each other, Wagner hits a running headscissors, McDonagh trips him up from outside, Wagner chops him, hits a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker and hits a big forearm smash. Wagner kicks Page in the back, McDonagh drops the Wagner, Page and McDonagh double suplex him, Lee comes back in to go on offense, rolling senton to McDonagh, running corner kick and slingshot dropkick to Page, and trips McDonagh into Page’s crotch. Dragon Lee hits the hesitation dropkick and covers McDonagh for 2, McDonagh trips Wagner, hits an Asai moonsault to Page and Dragon, then a slingshot tornillo splash onto Wagner for 2.
McDonagh suplexes Wagner, hits a diving elbow drop to the head, 2-count, Wagner reverses the Irish whip, gets tossed onto the apron, McDonagh kicks him in the ropes, and Page suplexes McDonagh onto Wagner’s back. Dragon Lee hits McDonagh with a diving crossbody, Page hits Lee with the double-knee facebuster, and gets a 2-count. Page ties Lee’s mask in the bottom rope, stomps him down, mocks everyone with jumping jacks, Lee frees himself, Page hits the big boot and grins before he puts Lee in a rear chinlock. Dragon Lee battles out, lands on his feet from a suplex, Page counters Operation Dragon, uses Lee’s leg to kick McDonagh, Wagner kicks Page in the head, Lee hits Wagner with a jumping knee, Page boots Lee in the face, McDonagh headbutts Page, and Page falls onto McDonagh for a 2-count! All four men are down!
Page tosses Lee onto the apron, Lee slams his head on the top turnbuckle, Page cuts him off on the top tuenbuckle, Lee crotches him, McDonagh gets involved, Lee crotches him as well, hits the double stacked double foot stomp, then hits a running headscissors over the ropes sending Wagner from the apron to the floor, gets back in the ring, floats over for the Liger Bomb to McDonagh, and gets a near-fall! Lee hits a running elbow to McDonagh, Page throws him out the ring, covers, and Wagner pulls him out the ring by the leg. Page and Wagner fight each other, Lee takes them out with a tope con hilo, sets Wagner up on the top rope, McDonagh pops up for a TOP ROPE SPANISH FLY to Dragon Lee, and covers for 2.5!! McDonagh pulls him up, but Lee counters with the MEXICAN DESTROYER! Page hits Lee with the Twisted Grin, covers, and Wagner breaks the count with a swanton to Page’s back! Wagner picks up McDonagh, Page gets hit by McDonagh’s feet, Wagner plants McDonagh with the Wagner Driver, and gets the 3-count! WINNER and STILL AAA LATIN AMERICAN CHAMPION: HIJO DEL DR. WAGNER JR.!

It’s time for the main event! We get a video package highlighting the ongoing feud with these two men. Dominik Mysterio heads to the ring first with his WWE Intercontinental Championship, although this title is not the one on the line. Vikingo heads out next as the AAA Mega Champion to a mixed reaction from the crowd, more boos than cheers from the crowd, and HIS title is on the line in this match. Lilian Garcia does the proper title match introductions, Dominik gets cheered with a few boos, Vikingo gets jeered with a scattered applause, referee Eddie Orengo holds up the title, he calls for the bell, and the main event underway!
* AAA Mega Championship: “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio {IC Champion} vs. El Hijo del Vikingo {C}
Dominik teases as the start, the crowd still chants his name, Dom with a rear waistlock, Vikingo reverses into a pin for a 1-count, Dom with a cazadora into the ropes, Vikingo ducks the 619, Dom blocks a schoolboy, Vikingo blocks a suplex, ties up his legs and arms, rolls over with him on his back, Dom counters with a schoolboy rollup for 2, and we have a stalemate. Dom offers a handshake, flips him off followed by a kick to the midsection, Vikingo does a head scissors, dropkicks him, and hits a head-first tope suicida! Vikingo slaps him on the chest, breaks the ref’s count, throws him back into the ring, Dom flapjacks him onto the top rope and shoves him into the ringpost shoulder-first.
Dom takes control of the match now, slaps him hard on the chest in front of Logan Paul at ringside, tosses him into the steel steps, and poses. Dom breaks the ref’s count, the crowd quiets for him, he slaps his chest, and throws the champ back into the ring. Dom suplexes him, floats over, delivers the second suplex, rolls back over, the crowd chants Eddie’s name, VIkingo breaks free, but Dom slaps his chest again, hits the final of Three Amigos, and gets a 2-count. Vikingo bounces off the ropes, Dom avoids the spin kick, hits a dropkick sending him to the floor, stomps on him as soon as he gets back in the ring, poses for the crowd, hits the tope atomico, and covers for 2. Vikingo starts to fight back, Dom kicks him down, Vikingo catches him off a crossbody, slams him down, and superkicks him. Dom crotches him on the top rope, covers for 2, grabs the Mega Championship, poses with it, puts it back and mocks Konnan for not winning that title.
Dom hits crossface forearms, puts him in a chinlock, switches to a surfboard stretch, but Vikingo gets to his feet, hits a top rope missile dropkick, and connects with the meteora for a near-fall. Vikingo goes for a springboard dropkick, but Dom counters with a sit-down powerbomb, and gets 2.5! Vikingo blocks the 619, picks him up, Dom slips out, side-steps him in a corner, gets on the middle ropes, Vikingo cuts him off, puts him in the electric chair position, hoists him into a swinging facebuster on the mat, drags him into position, scales the turnbuckle, hits a beautiful 450 Splash, and gets a near-fall.
Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh rush to the ring, Bálor distracts the ref, JD headbutts Vikingo, then Dom plants him with the Michinoku Driver and gets 2.5! McDonagh gets on the apron to distract the ref, Dom puts on the mask, Bálor hands him the metal piece to load up the mask, Vikingo superkicks him, and Dom drops the object. Dragon Lee runs down to fight JD and Bálor, they beat him down, then Rey Mysterio attacks the Judgment Day members with a steel chair alongside Dragon Lee, and they chase them away! Dom goes for a schoolboy, Vikingo rolls through, hits the spinning kick to the back of the head, rolls him into position, goes up top, hits the 630 SPLASH, makes the cover, 1-2-NO! El Grande Americano yanked the ref out the ring and hit an elbow drop to a massive applause!
Vikingo looks on at Americano, Dom dropkicks him in the back, hits the 619, goes up top, connects with the FROG SPLASH, covers, but there’s no referee!! Referee Adrian Butler runs down to make the count, 1-2-KICKOUT!!! Vikingo connects with a roundhouse kick, hits the poison ‘rana, the ref checks on Dom, Vikingo grabs El Grande Americano in the ropes as he’s pulling something out his pocket, he pulls at the mask, the ref tries to pull Vikingo off of him, Americano slides an object in the ring, Dom picks it up and loads up his mask. Vikingo lets Americano go, Dom hits the running headbutt with the loaded mask, goes back up top, hits the FROG SPLASH again, and covers for the 1-2-3!!!!!! WINNER and NEW AAA MEGA CHAMPION: “DIRTY” DOMINIK MYSTERIO!!!
“Dirty” Dominik Mysterio just made history to be the first man to simultaneously hold WWE and AAA championships at the same time!! As stated earlier, Rey Mysterio holds up his end of the bargain to present his son Dominik with the AAA Mega Championship, but Dom demands his dad to put the title around his waist. Rey reluctantly does it, secures the title, Dom orders him to get out of the ring, and he poses with the titles. The rest of The Judgment Day come to the ring to hug and celebrate the new double-champion, but Dom bypasses them all to give the biggest hug to El Grande Americano, leaving his own stablemates confused about his allegiance. Dominik Mysterio is the new AAA Mega Champion!
