Speaking at a NASCAR press conference, Kevin Owens talked about his neck surgery: “Yeah, so it was a neck surgery. I needed neck fusion. It was very stressful going into it because we weren’t really sure how severe the fusion was going to be, how many levels, all this stuff. Thankfully, it ended up only being one level, which is the best case scenario for something like this. But you know, the surgery was successful, I had a great doctor. The thing is now, we have to see how the bones fuse, and that’s never – there’s no guarantee that it’s going to work. It’s how my body heals, some guys had success, some guys didn’t. Fingers crossed I get to come back to wrestling in the next year, really don’t know though. My goal is come back so hopefully that happens.”
In this interview Nikki Bella says WWE is more open to Brie Bella returning even though Brie’s husband Bryan Danielson is now with AEW: “I keep pushing it. All the women want her back and they keep asking me every week has that decision changed. I don’t think legacies should be determined on spouses, but I also understand business. I do think (WWE is) becoming more and more open to it. I understand it takes time and we just have to figure things out. There’s so much business to figure out, and Brie and I both completely understand that.”

Any current demonstrations being held are between 2300 Arena and IATSE Local 8.”

In this interview Konosuke Takeshita praises EVIL: “I think when it comes to being the worst, he’s the best. I really think he’s one of the best opponents I’ve ever had. And he’s tough, you know? He has to be. He really is the best at being the worst. What we do in the ring is completely different, but I think we both have a strong idea of what we want to show the people. We both have something clear in mind that we use wrestling to get across, and I think in that regard, I might be closer in wavelength to EVIL than anyone in NJPW.”

Jim Ross says he signed a new AEW deal and never even spoke to WWE: “I saw somewhere online, somebody sent me something where I was negotiating with WWE to go back. I hadn’t heard that one. I haven’t talked to them. No plans to go back. I’m not saying that out of animosity or anger. It’s just not the right time for me to get more involved in the business. If they come to me with an idea that we haven’t discussed, I might reconsider, but I like being where I am. I like the schedule I have, the freedoms I have. I enjoy working with these young talents. I’ve developed a good relationship with a lot of those kids at AEW. I’m happy where I am, I really am. Not a lot of stress and pressure. I signed a new contract for a year. Got that done before I left. One year, next summer. Next August, I think it is. I have few dates. I like that. I have a deal that is very desirable. My schedule is basically to work pay-per-views and assorted appearances on TV. I expect to do all pay-per-views and we’ll see where that takes us. I’m happy with my deal. I’m happy to go back working with Tony (Khan). Tony and I spent a lot of time together in London, talking about my deal and his plans for me. I’m still figured in very strongly.”
