A major clash between two GLORY superstars will take place in the main event of GLORY 103: Last Heavyweight Standing on August 23 as Levi Rigters (19-3, 9 KO) collides with Jamal Ben Saddik (38-10, 29 KO).
The two former title contenders were originally set to fight back in 2022, however, the fight got cancelled and now, three years later, they will finally lock horns. The fight is set to be one of the biggest in recent years in GLORY with Rigters finally returning for the first time since his heroics against Rico Verhoeven last December and Ben Saddik making his own comeback to the GLORY ring this year to much fanfare.
The matchup was helped decided by the fans who got the opportunity over the weekend to cast their vote for who they want to see Rigters face on August 23. Fans who registered will get their chance to continue voting on other matchups all week.
The match-up will be part of Phase Two of the Last Heavyweight Standing tournament that will see sixteen heavyweights compete in epic head-to-head battles at GLORY 103. The eight winners will then form two four-man one-night tournaments at an upcoming event, the winners of both four-man tournaments will the book their spots in the end of year grand finale – an eight-man one-night tournament.
Among the other names taking part in Phase Two of the Last Heavyweight Standing, but yet to be matched, are Nabil Khachab (29-6-1, 4 KO), Iancu Ionut (31-11, 13 KO), Rade Opacic (21-7, 16 KO), Milos Cvjeticanin (13-4, 9 KO), Sofian Laidouni (39-5-1, 20 KO), and many more.
