After months of manipulation, misdirection, mist and more than a few broken dreams, Charles Crowley and Simon Miller will finally settle their score at Chapter 182: Stay Humble, in a match with the #1 contendership for the Proteus Championship at stake.
Their rivalry began earlier this year at Chapter 176: For The Love Of PROGRESS 3, where Miller and Crowley clashed in a uniquely chaotic bout contested under “WWE Finisher Rules.” It was a spectacle that suited both men’s personalities: Miller’s fun laced intensity against Crowley’s twisted theatre. Miller walked away with the win in Manchester and the bragging rights – but things were far from over.
At Chapter 179: PROGRESS, Las Vegas, the feud turned venomous. During the Proteus World Championship scramb, Crowley sprayed mist in Simon Miller’s face, blinding the then Proteus Champion and setting the stage for a title loss that night to Paul Walter Hauser. It was a calculated strike that cost Miller dearly, and Crowley revelled in the chaos, even slapping Miler backstage after the event.
Just when fans thought the dust might settle, the animosity flared again at Chapter 181: Far From Ordinary People. In a heated Fatal 4-Way Match, Miller looked poised to seize victory after hitting a massive spear on Adam Maxted. But before he could capitalise, Crowley threw Miller out of the ring and stole the pin, robbing him of the redemption he so longed for.

Now, it’s official: Simon Miller vs Charles Crowley at Chapter 182: Stay Humble, live from the Electric Ballroom in London on Sunday, 27 July. The winner will earn a shot at the Proteus Championship – a title both men claim is their destiny.
