Two championships, one iconic arena.
This Tuesday night, Major League Wrestling returns to the cathedral of lucha libre as CMLL presents two high-stakes MLW championship fights live from Arena México in Mexico City.
In the main event, Último Guerrero will defend the MLW National Openweight Championship against one of the sport’s most cunning and celebrated tacticians, Hechicero. With national pride and championship gold on the line, the eyes of the lucha world will be locked on Arena México for this monumental clash.
Also set for the evening: MLW World Tag Team Champions Los Depredadores (Magnus & Rugido) will put their titles on the line in a heated rematch against Blue Panther Jr. and Dark Panther. The bout comes on the heels of their first encounter at Azteca Lucha (watch) in Chicago, which ended in controversy and sparked demands for a rematch on CMLL’s home turf.
“The alliance between Major League Wrestling and CMLL continues to produce extraordinary matches,” said MLW President Cesar Duran. “It is an honor and privilege for an MLW championship to once again main event the iconic Arena México. The fans in Mexico are among the most passionate in the world. Viva la CMLL! Lucha Libre will never die!”
Don’t miss history in the making.
