Even though cell phones and recording were banned during Tony Hinchliffe’s WWE roast over WrestleMania weekend, these comments by Nia Jax about Charlotte Flair leaked out: “I forgot that she wasn’t even in the ring. Quite opposite from Charlotte Flair. I mean, nobody really wants to see her in the ring anymore. You know her three ex-husbands also said the same thing.” If that bothered her Charlotte is trying hard not to show it: “IDK. I’m just going to wrestle.”
In addition Charlotte says she had a complete different idea for her WWE name: “I think they named me Charlotte as like a joke. I did love Charlotte from ‘Sex and the City,’ but I pitched, because I love Miss Elizabeth, I pitched Elizabeth. Elizabeth Reid was one because of my brother. He was still alive then, but pretty much kind of… Elizabeth was part of my name. Charlotte, I think they went with because ‘Ric is billed from Charlotte. This is easy.'”
Kenny Omega says Tetsuya Naito’s departure from NJPW caught him by surprise: “Yeah, very odd. Odd as in I didn’t hear anything about it. It just kind of came out of nowhere and not that Naito and I keep in touch or anything like that or let us know what we’re thinking and how things are going but, you know, sometimes you hear a bit of a rambling and there’s murmurs and whispers.”

It’s also my first Mania without my deadbeat dad anywhere around me. It’s definitely an accomplishment for me. Whatever the company wants, I’m here for them. I’m a team player and they know that. Alan Angels has confirmed his departure from TNA Wrestling. “I am once again starting over and truthfully I have no idea what’s next, but I will never give up. Wrestling is my passion and has been since the day I started watching as a 7-year-old boy. It’s all I think about every second of every day and I can’t imagine ever not doing it. Thank you to anyone that ever even watched me on a TNA program, and just know this isn’t the end for me.”

Red Velvet says ROH isn’t a B show: “So, yeah, my vision for my career right now is to continue defending this title to maybe go hold some more gold, you know? I could collect belts too, but I do want, like i said, I feel like I’m one of the best of my time, so why not live in that and spread it? Everyone gets greedy, I feel and it gets lonely at the top. So to me, I just really want to focus on like, not even just building the women’s division, but like Ring of Honor is not the B show, like great people are on that show. So let’s build it, right? I’m tired of it being overlooked. I’m tired of it being disrespected. Let’s put some stank on it and start cooking.”
