Welterweight Contenders Gabriel Bonfim and Randy Brown Headline at UFC Apex

Las Vegas – UFC returns to UFC APEX with an action-packed welterweight matchup featuring No. 14 ranked contender Gabriel Bonfim and division veteran Randy Brown locking horns in the main event. In addition, exciting flyweights Matt Schnell and The Ultimate Fighter season 33 winner Joseph Morales square off in the co-main event.

UFC FIGHT NIGHT: BONFIM vs. BROWN takes place Saturday, November 8 in Las Vegas and will be available on ESPN+ (English and Spanish). The prelims will air at 1 p.m. PT / 4 p.m. ET, followed by the main card airing at 4 p.m. PT / 7 p.m. ET.

Brazil’s Bonfim (18-1, fighting out of Brasília, Brazil) sets forth to deliver fireworks once more. The Dana White’s Contender Seriesstandout has made an impact in his division by securing wins against formidable opponents such as Stephen Thompson, Khaos Williams, and Trevin Giles. Bonfim now has his sights set on delivering an impressive performance against Brown and continue his climb up the ranks.

Brown (20-6, fighting out of Queens, N.Y., by way of Spanish Town, Jamaica) returns to competition looking for his second win in the 2025 season. A 10-year Octagon veteran, Brown has earned his stripes by delivering notable finishes against tough foes such as Nicolas Dalby, Muslim Salikhov, and Bryan Barberena. He now plans to make the most of his first UFC main event and add Bonfim to his highlight reel.

Schnell (17-9 1 NC, fighting out of Shreveport, La.) looks for back-to-back wins. Since making his debut back in 2016, Schnell has become a fan-favorite with his performances over the likes of Jimmy Flick, Su Mudaerji, and Tyson Nam. He now looks to remind Morales and the rest of the 125-pound division why he’s one of the best in his class.

Morales (13-2, fighting out of Sacrament, Calif.) aims to make another splash. Most recently defeating Alibi Idiris to become the winner of The Ultimate Fighter season 33, Morales looks to keep his momentum going and secure a second straight win. He now aims to steal the show and deliver a statement against Schnell.
