Ian’s Less-Than-Maximum Carnage Dynamite Recap

AEW

Couldn’t think of what to call this week, but if last week was Maximum Carnage, this week therefore must have at least a tiny bit less carnage than the maximum. Still, it’s got Josh Alexander vs. Kenny Omega, which might be Maximum Graps!

Dynamite opens with Tony Schiavone introducing MJF. He starts to ask him about last week’s title defense, but MJF cuts him off, talks about how great his life of luxury is, and says it’s all because he’s the best wrestler alive. He says the proof is in the championship. As he’s talking himself up, Brody King interrupts. He says all he wants to do is hurt MJF for what he did to Bandido last week, but he won’t do it, because MJF’s “just a bitch”. He says, if he puts his hands on MJF, it’ll disrupt his chances of getting a match. He then challenges him to a world title match tonight. MJF backs up, then says no, because Brody King is all bark and no bite, and hasn’t done anything to earn a title shot. He tells King not to interrupt him again, and pokes him in the chest in the process. Once he realizes what he’s done, he exits quickly.
