After a commercial, Tony Schiavone welcomes the three competitors in the World Championship match at World’s End. Physicality is barred during this contract signing. Joe tells Schiavone to shut up, then says he brought his teammates out to make sure nothing goes down. He says he hopes his two opponents make it to World’s End. Swerve says he came back for the championship, and acknowledges that he’d be going after Hangman if the match at Full Gear had gone down, but it would be different, because they’ve come to respect each other, and share a hatred of Samoa Joe. He reminds Joe that, the last time they had a contract signing, Joe beat him down, and Swerve responded by taking his title. He says he’ll leave a boot print on Joe’s face that will be worse than the fake tattoo he had in 2007. Hangman talks about how all three of them were unified back in July, and says he would have supported either one of them if they’d been in his position at All In, but it didn’t come down to them, it came down to him. He accuses Joe of taking the easy way out when he failed in his first challenge to Hangman, and says that Joe interrupted Hangman’s plan to defend the championship against everyone who had helped him get a fair shot against the Death Riders. He says that he would have been fine if Swerve had gone after him if he’d retained the championship at Full Gear, and says he doesn’t know who will leave World’s End as champion, but it definitely won’t be Samoa Joe. That makes three signatures, and then the lights go out.
MJF is back! He hands Tony Schiavone his Casino Gauntlet contract, and Schiavone announces that the match is now a four-way. MJF grabs a mic and says he’s choosing to cash in against three opponents and not just one because he realized Hangman may have been right to call him a coward, but it’ll hurt Hangman more than anything to know that MJF took the championship far away from him in the hardest way possible. Joe tries to interrupt, and MJF says he’s not afraid of me, but he still hates him. He says that, as much as he hates the fans, they get to decide who counts as an all time great, and Joe taking the title from him for his first reign got in the way of that. He says he’s going to end Joe’s title reign at the same event where Joe ended his. Swerve says he’s the one MJF should be afraid of. MJF responds by comparing Swerve to P. Diddy. He says he’s known Swerve for years from the Indy circuit, but they went their separate ways to the majors. He says Swerve’s run in WWE wasn’t great, so he went to AEW and found himself, but now he’s in MJF’s way. He says at World’s End, he’s handling all his family business in one night.
