Garcia (18-5, fighting out of Albuquerque, N.M.) intends to make the most of his first UFC main event. Known for his striking power, Garcia is currently riding a six-fight win streak, including five knockouts in a row over the likes of Kyle Nelson, Melquizael Costa and Chase Hooper. He now sets forth to defend his spot in the rankings against Onama and turn his attention towards the top of the division.
The always-exciting Onama (14-2, fighting out of Kansas City, Mo. by way of Kyangwali, Uganda) returns to action for the second time in 2025. On a four-fight win streak of his own, he earned his spot in the Top 15 with victories over Giga Chikadze, Roberto Romero and Jonathan Pearce. Onama now looks to secure another signature stoppage by taking out Garcia.
Cortes Acosta (14-2, fighting out of Phoenix, Ariz. by way of Fundacion, Barahona, Dominican Republic) makes his fourth Octagon appearance of the year. One of the most active heavyweight contenders, Cortes Acosta has impressed fans with wins over Serghei Spivac, Ryan Spann and Andrei Arlovski. He now aims to build another long win streak by halting Delija in highlight-reel fashion.
Croatia’s Delija (26-6, fighting out of Dubrovnik, Croatia) makes a quick turnaround to continue his ascent up the heavyweight ladder. A well-rounded mixed martial artist with 19 finishes to his name, Delija made headlines with his first-round knockout of veteran Marcin Tybura in September. He now plans to prove that win was no fluke with an equally impressive performance against Cortes Acosta.
