Tonight, it’s the first Dynamite outside of Chicago since All In! And I can’t think of what else to say about it!
To open Dynamite, MJF says he’s going to make Mark Briscoe pay for Hangman Page’s cowardice. He says he’ll send Mark Briscoe back to his chicken farm, and shows off his new CMLL World Light Heavyweight Championship. Is it just me or does MJF not actually qualify as a light heavyweight?
Match One: Jon Moxley vs. “Speedball” Mike Bailey

Backstage, Toni Storm and Alex Windsor hype up Windsor’s match tonight, while Windsor tries to avoid innuendo and Storm tries her best not to. They then dance off.
In the parking lot, Mox and Marina find Yuta in a body bag with “Forbidden Door” stapled to his head as Darby drives off.
Renee asks the returning Mercedes Mone about her performance at All In. Mone stops her and tells her not to be such a mark.
Match Two: TBS Championship Forbidden Door 4-Way Qualifier: Alex Windsor vs. Queen Aminata vs. Skye Blue vs. Billie Starkz
Toni Storm and Athena are at ringside.
Everyone but Starkz fight, they end up focusing on Blue, Aminata and Windsor shake hands then go for a hold on each other, Blue joins in, everyone trades strikes, Aminata with a snapmare to Blue, kick to the back, Chocolate Kisses, everyone tees off on each other again, Blue covers Windsor for one, then lands on her for one, hurricanrana, running knee, Aminata pulls her out of the ring, everyone tees off on the floor, Starkz rolls Windsor into the ring, toss into the turnbuckle, Windsor with punches to the gut, Starkz with a knee, boot washes, toss to the corner, everyone trades offense, Aminata back suplexes Blue through a chair on the floor, Athena tries to help Starkz and ends up brawling with Storm, Windsor rolls Starkz up for three.

Mercedes Mone comes out and stares down Windsor. Toni Storm comes in to observe, and Athena takes the opportunity to surprise her with an O-Face. Amidst the confusion, Mone hits Windsor with a Back Stabber. Mone and Athena then stare each other down.
Backstage in a pre-tape, Renee asks the Bucks how they’re coping, they complain, then harass the production staff for their old entrance back.
Renee then welcomes the Don Callis Family to the ring. She starts to ask Fletcher about his title victory, but Don Callis interrupts and says they should be asking why he’s building such large numbers. He says power. Kyle Fletcher says Dustin Rhodes got what he deserved. He says he also put Adam Cole on the shelf, and promises to be the greatest TNT Champion of all time. Don Callis concurs, then unveils an oil painting he made of Fletcher. Don Callis is also in the painting, shirtless and with even more defined abs than Fletcher. Fletcher says it’s the greatest gift he’s ever received, and he knows that he owes all his success to Callis. He then makes an open challenge for Collision.
Alicia Atout asks Adam Copeland about Christian’s exploits last week. He says Christian is still an asshole, but he has a lot on his hands. He says that he has a lot on his hands himself, but he got a match against Stokely next week, and if FTR interfere, the restraining order is null and void.
Match Three: Tag Team Championship #1 Contenders’ Tournament: Brodido vs. The Young Bucks
The Bucks get their music back, but are trapped behind their own video screen. Justin Roberts also reads out their introduction by reading out the note they gave him. Their pyro is just a sound effect and then a single flare, and then they get new MIDI entrance music and their lower third says “Max and Jeremy”.
Bandido and Nick start off, Bandido with a side headlock, tackle, jockeying, Matt tackles Bandido from behind, they take down King, toss Bandido to the corner, Bandido fights his way out, corkscrew senton to both of them, body slam to Nick, standing splash, King in, Bucks double team, whip, King clotheslines both of them, cleans house for a while, Bandido in, some back and forth, Matt in, Bandido kicks him around, Nick refuses a tag, King in, avalanche, Bandido in, goes up top while King wrenches an arm, Bandido jumps on it, knocks Matt around, splash for two, King in, punch to the back, chop, Nick with a kick, Matt with a kick, Nick in, springboard hurricanrana, knocks Bandido off the apron, Risky Business for two, kicks in the corner, King rebounds and knocks them both around, they go for a fireman’s carry senton/splash combo, Matt collapses and King knocks Nick out of midair, Bandido in, Bucks double team him, elevated splash combo for two, Nick with a suicide dive to Bandido, elevated senton combo on the floor, Nick with a top rope senton for two, Bandido starts to rally, Bucks beat him down again, go for the move formerly known as the BTE and EVP Trigger, argue over what it’s called, miss, King in, cleans house, Bandido in, resumes cleaning house, they hit him with a tackle, King crotches Matt, superplex, Bandido misses a knee, Nick with a Canadian Destroyer, superkick party to King, elevated double foot stomp to Bandido, TK Driver for two as King breaks the count, Matt hits Bandido with a springboard DDT on the apron, goes for same to King, reversed into a DVD on the apron, Nick kicks King and hits a DDT to the floor, Bandido tosses Nick into the crowd, they trade strikes, they both get up on the barricade, Nick with a superkick, Bandido with a gorilla press slam into Matt, 21 Plex to Matt for two as Nick breaks the count, King tosses Nick to the floor, sets Matt up top, suicide dive to Nick, Bandido with a top rope moonsault slam for two, King with a running senton, launches Bandido for a 450 on Matt for three!

Backstage, Renee asks Hurt Syndicate about what they just saw. MVP congratulates Brodido, and says they’ll be glad to hurt whoever wins the tournament. MJF walks in and tries to talk to MVP one on one. MVP says MJF hasn’t been about the team, and confirms that MJF is out. He says that, because he loves MJF, he hopes he doesn’t win the belt, because Lashley will come after it.
FTR says the restraining order was for Copeland’s benefit, Stokely says he’s not a wrestler and he’s injured, but that’s just going to make it more embarrassing for Copeland when he beats him.
Renee welcomes Swerve Strickland. She asks him about his upcoming match with Okada, and if he’s concerned about the Don Callis Family. Swerve points out that no one is allowed ringside for Unified Championship matches, but last time Don Callis was ringside for a Swerve match, he walked out still champion. He says that Okada may be a once-every-thousand-years talent, but Swerve only comes around once, ever. He says Okada is afraid of him, because he’s the most dangerous man in AEW.
Alicia Atout asks Briscoe about his upcoming match. He says he’ll talk with his fists. Atout asks if he’ll be in line for a world title shot if he wins a fourth straight main event. Hangman Page comes in and says yes.
Renee talks to Aminata about her performance tonight. Willow walks in and proposes they team up on Collision alongside Tay Melo. Kris Statlander comes in and gives a facetiously supportive speech, Willow asks why she hasn’t moved on like she said she would, and says that, when she can take this seriously, then they can talk. Stat responds by throwing confetti and walking off.
Main Event: MJF vs. Mark Briscoe
Briscoe with punches, goes for a Jay Driller, blocked, MJF with a bite, Briscoe with a forearm, goes up top, MJF bails, goes through the crowd, Briscoe beats him down in the stands, knocks him back over the barricade, sets up a chair, Tower of London, sets up a table, MJF attacks from behind, toss into the ring post, reversed, Briscoe goes up top, MJF rolls to the other end of the ring, eye gouge, stomps in the corner, trading back suplex attempts until MJF turns one into a cutter for two, toss to the corner, foot choke, dumps Briscoe on the top rope suplex-style, shoulder tackles in the corner, whip, tackle, leg choke, knee, Briscoe with punches, MJF with an abdominal stretch, grabs the rope, lets it go when the ref is looking, eventually breaks, Briscoe with a back body drop, big boot, goes up top, MJF rolls to the floor, Briscoe hits Froggy Bow from the apron, rolls him into the ring, goes up top, MJF rolls to the floor again, Briscoe with a suicide senton, lays MJF on the table, punches, goes up top, MJF rolls into the ring, then to the opposite side of the ring, kick, Alabama Slam, Boston Crab, eventually reversed into a rollup for two, MJF goes for the Heat Seeker, Briscoe throws him off, goes up top, MJF kicks the rope to crotch him, joins him up top, Briscoe bites him, punch knocks MJF to the mat, Froggy Bow for two, MJF rolls to the floor, Briscoe with a punch, rolls MJF onto the table, punches, goes up top, misses Froggy Bow and crashes through the table, Briscoe beats the count at 9 but walks into a Heat Seeker for three, even though Briscoe’s foot was on the rope.

MJF beats Briscoe down after the bell, then hits him with the ring. Hangman Page comes out and brawls with MJF until security pulls them apart and MJF walks off through the crowd. MJF starts to head back, and they brawl again, this time with several security guards being taken out. Page goes for a Buckshot Lariat, MJF bails and walks up the ramp as Dynamite goes off the air.
