Tonight, it’s Summer Blockbuster! Will Ospreay faces Swerve Strickland in the main event, and also other stuff that I can’t quite remember at the moment!
Dynamite opens with various wrestlers arriving. Christopher Daniels reminds Hangman that he’s going to be up against more than just Moxley at All In, and advises him to mend some fences if he can. As soon as they part ways, Death Riders start trailing Hangman.
Match One: Swerve Strickland vs. Will Ospreay
Huh, so this wasn’t actually the main event, it was the exact opposite.

Swerve grabs a mic and says they both just proved that they’re the best, but says they need a finish. He calls for Sudden Death, but Death Riders come out instead. They surround the ring, before the Bucks hit the ring and attack Swerve, then hit an EVP Trigger. They pull out a pair of handcuffs, superkick Prince Nana when he objects, pull out another pair of handcuffs, handcuff Swerve to the ropes, and hit a volley of superkicks. Yuta slides in a bag, which turns out to contain thumbtack-laden shoes. The Bucks put them on, taunt Swerve, but Ospreay puts himself between them and eats the superkicks himself instead. The Bucks look uncomfortable, and leave.
Backstage, Renee asks Okada about tonight’s contract signing, and his feud with Omega. Don Callis walks in and asks why it’s Okada in the match and not Fletcher or Takeshita, who he says have both had a better 2025 so far than Okada. Okada starts to object, but the Don Callis Family menace him, so he walks off.
The Hurt Syndicate beat down Komander backstage and take his mask. Commentary indicates this may have been from before the show.
Match Two: Mistico vs. Blake Christian
Christian with a kick, whip, Mistico floats over, Christian with a tijeras, Mistico with kicks, top rope walk, Christian with an arm drag, mounted punches, stomps, whip, Mistico with a springboard elbow, tijeras, chop, springboard arm drag, suicide dive, rolls Christian into the ring, kick from the apron, springboard crossbody for two, goes up top, Lee Johnson grabs his leg, Christian boots Mistico to the floor, suicide dive, rolls Mistico into the ring, springboard 450 for two, goes up top, Mistico with a boot, top rope Spanish Fly for three.

The Hurt Syndicate come out, and MJF makes a challenge for Mistico, next week in Mexico. He vows to dust off the American Champion gimmick for one night only. Mistico takes the mic and accepts. MJF reminds him that he used to be Sin Cara, and goes for a punch, but Mistico blocks and punches MJF instead, prompting the rest of the Syndicate to beat him down. MJF starts to unmask him, but their opponents for the night make the save.
Match Three: The Hurt Syndicate vs. Jet Speed and Mascara Dorada
Good guys with trios suicide dives. MJF and Dorada start off, but it quickly erupts into a brawl, Syndicate take an early edge, MJF with a body slam in the ring, slaps, Dorada with a punch, MJF with an eye poke, Dorada responds in kind, whip, hurricanrana, Knight in, stomp, Bailey in, double whip, double hip toss, Knight with a tackle, Bailey with a shooting star press for two, kicks, toss to the corner, Dorada in, knee, MJF with an eye poke, Lashley tosses Dorada to the floor, Benjamin tosses Dorada around the floor, then back into the ring, Lashley in, beat down, delayed vertical for two, MJF in, beatdown, Shelton in, trading shots, Shelton with a whip, back body drop for two as Knight breaks the count, Shelton kicks Dorada, MJF in, stomp, Lashley in, neckbreaker, shoulder tackle in the corner, MJF in, Ballin’ Elbow Drop, Knight in, dropkick, standing frog splash for two, Speedball in, brawl with the tag champs, it doesn’t go well, MJF in, pump handle driver for two, Bailey with a superkick, everyone takes turns teeing off on everyone, MVP eventually runs in and hits Speedball in the knee with his cane, MJF with a hammerlock DDT for three.

MJF continues beating down Bailey after the bell, which turns into a full-on beatdown by the winners on the losers. MJF starts to unmask Dorada, eventually succeeds in getting the mask off. Mistico makes the save.
After a commercial, Death Riders are revealed to have Hangman with his mouth taped and his hands tied behind his back. They drag him to the ring and beat him down. Moxley grabs a mic and says he just wanted to make sure they could have a real conversation, because Hangman tends to get distracted. He says he doesn’t like Page, but Page has four weeks to find himself. Hangman manages to headbutt Mox, prompting another beatdow. Claudio wraps a chair around Hangman’s neck, but Mox calls him off. Just then, The Opps make the save. Page says that can’t be all the Death Riders have got, and promises blood tonight.
Match Four: Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford vs. TayJay
Everyone tees off to start the match, Bayne with a body slam to Jay, Ford in, Bayne with a toss to the corner, forearm, whip, avalanche, Ford with a cartwheel elbow, Jay with forearms, elbows in the corner, whip, running spin kick, sets Ford up top, kick, Iconoclasm, dropkick, Bayne in, double team beatdown, it continues for a long time, Ford in, moonsault for two, bow and arrow, toss to the corner, Bayne in, clothesline, another, a third, Ford in, Jay tosses her to the floor, Ford pulls Melo off the apron to block a tag, Bayne with a tackle, covers for two, I guess she was legal, shoulder tackles in the corner, sets Jay up top, Jay with forearms, dropkick, Melo in, cleans house, runing knee for two as Bayne breaks the count, tags in, Melo with forearms, Bayne with a forearm, misses an avalanche, Melo with a Helluva Kick, another, a third, Bayne goes for Fate’s Descent, reversed into a calf slicer, Bayne powers out by slamming Melo’s head into the mat, Melo tosses her to the floor, cannonball, Jay with a crossbody, Penelope moonsaults them both, rolls them both into the ring, Bayne slams them both at once, Ford in, goes for Fate’s Descent, reversed into whatever Melo’s finisher is called, it’s been a while, Jay holds Bayne back while Melo covers for three.

There’s a brief skirmish after the bell, but the winners stand tall on the stage.
They show a package recapping the Okada vs. Omega rivalry.
Tony Schiavone welcomes both men to the ring, then reveals that the winner will be crowned the new AEW Unified Champion, unveiling the new belt in the process. Okada signs the contract without a word. Kenny grabs a mic and says it’s been seven years almost to the day since their last match, and he barely recognized himself in the video package. He says they need to leave it in the ring, one final time, for everything. Then Kenny signs. He offers Okada a hand, which Okada accepts. They pull each other close and have a staredown.
Don Callis comes out and says Kenny should be ashamed of himself because his guys should be in the match. Kenny says he’s beaten both of them, and he’s not pulling any more tricks. Callis says Kenny didn’t know this trick, and Okada attacks Kenny with the Continental Championship. Callis hands him a cascading baton, and Okada hits Kenny in the gut with it, then the back of the head. Kenny is placed on a stretcher as Dynamite ends and Collision begins.
