Ian’s Fyter Fest 2025 Dynamite Recap

AEW

Tonight, it’s Fyter Fest, the event named after a news story that became a meme, but the wresting event has far outlived the news story or the memes! What’s on the card? I’m not entirely sure, because it’s a four-hour event with Collision starting right after it, and I’m not really sure which matches are on which half! But it’ll be good! So come on in!

Dynamite opens with Toni Storm welcoming everyone to the show.

Tony Schiavone then welcomes Will Ospreay to the ring. They show the clip of Ospreay brawling with Swerve last week. Ospreay says he’s sorry it got to that, and maybe it wasn’t the best idea to try to get Swerve and Hangman on the same page, but if they could just put it aside for one night to get the belt back, they could go back to killing each other. He says Jon Moxley should leave if he doesn’t like what AEW has become. He says he will help ensure the championship comes back, but he’s worried that Swerve will try to stop Hangman. He says he loves Swerve, but if he has to be the one to stop him from doing it, he will, so he’s calling him out for next week. The Cru then come out and call Ospreay out. Ospreay challenges Lio for Collision.
