Match 1
Faarooq Ken Shamrock and Steve Blackman vs WWF IC Champion The Rock D’LO Brown and Mark Henry
D’Lo and Blackman lock up, D’Lo wrenches the arm and goes into the side headlock and Blackman shoots him off but gets caught with a shoulder tackle. D’Lo forces Blackman into the ropes but but misses a shot and gets caught with a series of kicks. D’Lo picks up and slams Blackman but misses a big elbow drop. Blackman catches D’Lo with a dropkick and an arm drag and bars the arm and makes the tag out. Shamrock wrenches the arm but D’Lo pokes the eye but Shamrock catches him coming off the ropes with a back elbow. Shamrock goes after D’Lo and gets a submission but D’Lo gets to the ropes. Shamrock gets a front facelock and we get some weird communication as Blackman comes in but Shamrock tells him to get out because he wants Faarooq. Faarooq and D’Lo stare down and Faarooq lands some shots and ends up whipping D’Lo with a belt and making the tag out. Blackman picks up D’Lo lands a big bodyslam but misses an elbow drop. Henry comes in and lands a series of backbreakers and drops Blackman to the mat. Nation works over Blackman but Blackman quickly escapes and makes a lukewarm tag to Faarooq.
Faarooq lands a series shots and whips D’Lo into the ropes but ducks his head and D’Lo drives the face of Faarooq into the mat and makes the tag out. Henry comes in and lands a series of shots but Faarooq comes back and makes a tag out. Blackman lands a series of shots but gets sent into the ropes and Rock catches him from the outside and Henry lands a big powerslam. Nation work over Blackman for a good bit including Rock landing the yet to be named elbow drop and locking in chinlock. D’Lo picks up and slams Blackman but misses a moonsault from the top rope and Blackman makes the tag. Faarooq comes in and cleans house and lands a big shoulder tackle and all 6 men brawl with Shamrock Blackman, D’Lo and Henry all brawling to floor. Rock lands a series of shots in the corner and sends Faarooq in to the corner but Faarooq avoids a shot and lands the DOMINATOR for the win.

WWF World Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin comes out and forces timekeeper Mark Yeaten to get in the ring. Austin tells Yeaten to get in the middle of the ring with him. Austin says that last Monday night he rang the bell. Yeaten says he was just doing his job. Austin telles Yeaten to put some base in voice because he’s starting to piss him off, and if he didn’t know he hates it when people piss him off. Austin says that if Vince McMahon screws him tonight he’s going to beat his ass up and down the isles of the Greensboro Coliseum and he he’s done doing that he will do the same to Yeaten. Austin tells Yeaten if he calls it down the middle he might get fired and you can always find another job but it will be hard to find another life.

Triple H vs Owen Hart
Comissioner Slaughter comes out and makes sure Chyna goes in the cage, and while that’s happening Triple H and Owen brawl in the isleway with Owen sending Triple H into the ring to start the match just to clothesline Triple H back out. Owen sends Triple H in to the announcers and then picks up Triple H and drops him across the guard rail and rolls hi back into the ring. Owen sends Triple H into the corner and goes for the 10 punches but Triple H counters and drops Owen on the turnbuckle. Triple H whips Owen into the ropes and Owen ducks a series of shots but Triple H catches him with a knee to the face. Triple H sends Owen into the corner and lands a series of kicks and chokes Owen in the corner. Triple H lands a big suplex on Owen for a near fall and locks in a Dragon Sleeper on the mat. Owen fights back and goes for the Irish whip but gets sent chest first into the corner. Triple H whips Owen into the ropes but drops his head and gets a sunset flip from Owen for a near fall. Owen forces Triple H into the corner but misses a charge and goes in shoulder first and then Triple H sends Owen into the middle corner. Owen whips Triple H into the ropes but ducks his head and Triple H lands the kneebuster and locks back in the Dragon Sleeper on Owen. Owen fights back to his feet and Triple H goes for a reverse suplex but Owen flips out of it and lands a big German Suplex for a near fall.
Owen whips Triple H into the ropes and lands a big belly to belly suplex as we see from top of the Greensboro Coliseum that Chyna has bent the steel bars off the cage she was locked in as it slowly comes donw. Triple H sends Owen to the floor but then rolls him back into the ring. Owen lands a big shot and Triple H falls through the ropes and gets his leg caught in the ropes as Chyna is dangling from the shark cage she was locked in for the match. Triple H goes for the Pedigree but Owen counters and slingshots Triple H into the corner and the cage starts lowering and we find out that Road Dogg commendered the controls of the cage. Owen hooks Triple H and lands the PEDIGREE but X-Pac dives in and nails Owen with a fire exstinquisher to the back of the head while the referee is distracted and Triple H rolls on top for the win.

Jim Cornette comes out and grabs the microphone. Cornette says the people of Greensboro are still the ugliest bunch of people he’s ever seen in his life. Cornette says that Greensboro probably still things the greatest tag team in wrestling in The Rock and Roll Express. The New Midnight Express-Bombastic Bob and Bodacious Bart vs The Rock and Roll Express-Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson
Bob and Gibson lock up, Gibson locks in a side headlock and Bob shoves him off and leaps over but gets bowled down by a shoulder tackle and falls to the floor. Gibson gets a single leg on Bob and we get some double teaming. NME try to double team and it backfires. Bart locks in an abdominal stretch and tries to cheat but referee Tim White catches him with brings Jim Cornette in the ring who challenges Tim White but White steps up and Cornette bails out. Bart whips Morton into the ropes and Cornette trips him up allowing Bart to send Morton to the floor. Bob lands a shot and sends him back into the ring. NME work over Morton but it’s Bob missing the big ALABAMA JAM off the top rope allowing a tag out. All four men get involved and pair off and Morton and Gibson send NME together. Morton and Gibson land a double dropkick and Jim Cornette gets involved but elbow drops his own man. Gibson gets the O’Connor Roll on Bart but Bob catches Gibson with a bulldog and Bart rolls on top for the victory.

We go backstage to Dok Hendrix who is with Goldust and Luna. Luna says that tonight she is going to strip every inch of clothing off of Sable’s Grotesk body. Luna says that tonight she is going to leave Sable in the ring like a born. Dok says that he’s going to follow Goldust and Luna to the ring because he want’s to see this.

Luna beat Sable in an Evening Gown Match when Marc Mero distracted Sable. After the match Sable attacks Luna and lands the Sable Bomb and strips Luna’s dress from her. Luna tries to escape but Sable goes underneath the ring and pulls the rest of the clothes off and then comes back and gets in the ring and celebrates as a naked Luna is carried back by Goldust.
Vince McMahon Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco come to the ring. Vince gets the microphone. Vince says that something CATOSTROPHIC is going to happen tonight. Vince says that there’s speculation going around that he’s here tonight to screw Stone Cold Steve Austin. Vince says that he wants to talk about something that happened not all that long ago and says that that he was born here and is a fellow NORTH CAROLINIAN. Vince says as far as the conspiracy theory of him screwing Stone Cold Steve Austin he will not dignify that with a response. Vince says however he will not be held responsible for whatever happens IN THIS VERY RING tonight. Vince says that he will not accept responibilty if STONE COLD SCREWS STONE COLD.

LOD 2000-Hawk and Animal w Sunny vs the New Age Outlaws-Billy Gunn and the Road Dogg
Animal and Billy lock up, Billy locks in a side headlock and gets shoved off and Animal catches Billy with a big shoulder tackle. Both men hit the ropes and avoid each other but eventually Animal lands a big shoulder tackle and a clothesline on Billy. NAO try to double team Animal but Animal catches them and drives them both face first into the mat. Animal wrenches the arm and makes the tag to Hawk who comes off with a series of shots. Road Dogg comes back but Hawk catches him coming off the ropes with a big powerslam and a fist drop and Road Dogg tags out. Hawk slingshots Billy into the ring and whips him into the ropes and lands a HIGH BACK BODY DROP. LOD double team Bily with a double back elbow and Animal locks in a chinlock. All four men get involved and LOD send NAO together. LOD go for the Doomsday Device on Road Dogg but Billy chop locks Animal sending him to the mat. NAO work over the leg of Animal for a bit.
Road Dogg locks in a spinning toe hold and then Billy works over the leg. Road Dogg drapes Animal over the middle rope and drops down across the back for a near fall. Billy goes for a piledriver but Animal counters with a big back drop and then lands the corkscrew leg whip on Gunn and makes the tag. Hawk comes in and cleans house and lands a series of shots. Hawk lands a big move but Billy breaks up the pin with one of the tag titles. Billy holds Hawk but Road Dogg nails Billy with a tag belt and Hawk gets a German Suplex for the fall… BUT WAIT as referee Jack Doan declares the NAO the winners because he counted Hawk’s shoulders to the mat.

We go the stage where Tennessee Lee is and introduces Sawyer Brown who will be singing back up tonight for the greatest entertainer in the WORLD WRESTLING FEDEDRATION.. DOUBLE J Jeff Jarrett. Jarrett and Mark Miller do a pretty good version of SOME GIRLS DO by Sawyer Brown. Jarrett gets the microphone and says that was for Tammy Wynette and declares himself the new KING OF COUNTRY MUSIC. Steve Blackman attacks Jarrett and locks him in a submission but Tennessee Lee blasts Blackman in the back of the head with the guitar and Jarret locks in the figure four on Blackman until security and referees come out as the Greensboro crowd chant WE WANT FLAIR.

Kane and Taker trade shots and Taker gets the upper hand in the corner. Taker sends Kane from corner to corner and lands a big splash and the lands OLD SCHOOL off the ropes onto the arm of Kane and the fire explodes. Taker lands more shots and charges but Kane drops Taker face first across the turnbuckle. Kane lands a series of shots and works over Taker in the corner. Taker comes back and goes for an Irish whip but gets reversed and Kane lands a big powerslam. Kane gets a steel chair and blasts Taker over the hea with the chair. Kane lands more shots on Taker and sends him from corner to corner and continues to work him over. Taker fights back and lands a series of shots and goes for the chokeslam but Kane counters and they do the double chokeslam spot but Kane lands a knee to the gut and a chokeslam on Taker.
Kane goes for the tombstone but Taker escapes and shoves Kane into the corner and lands a chokeslam. Taker goes for the leaping clothesline but misses, and Kane climbs the ropes but Taker crotches him and lands a big superplex on Kane. Taker shoots Kane over the top to the floor as Paul Bearer accosts timekeeper Mark Yeaten poor guy can’t catch a break. Kane tries to leave but here comes VADER making his return and he and Kane brawl back towards the rind and Taker lands a big leaping dive to the floor to take both of them out. Paul Bearer tries to nail Taker with a chair but Taker no sells and gets the chair and plasters Kane with it. Taker chases Paul Bearer to the music set and Taker plasters Bearer with a drum through the head and that busts Bearer open. Taker heads back towards the ring, Kane goes for a shot but Taker catches Kane with a boot and Kane backs into the flames and gets one of his hands caught on fire and leaves.

Dude attacks Austin to start but Austin comes back and lands a series of kicks in the corner. Austin sends Dude into the ropes and lands a big back elbow and Dude tumbles to the floor. Austin rolls Dude back into the ring and lands more shots. Austin gets the Thesz Press and lands a series of shots and lands a series of elbows on the mat. Austin works over Dude and sends him back to the floor. Dude tries to leave but Austin runs up the isle and mows him over with a big shot to the back of the head. Austin throws Dude onto the bandstand and lands a series of shots and hip tosses Dude off the bandstand. Austin and Dude brawl back towards ringside and Dude sends Austin into the ring apron but Austin comes back with a big clothesline. Austin picks up Dude and slams him on the guard rail and rolls him back into the ring. Austin drapes Dude over the middle rope but misses. Dude lands a series of shots on Austin and chokes him down in the corner but Austin comes back and lands a big clothesline. Austin goes for the Irish whip but Dude counters and lands a knee to the gut and works over Austin and locks in a chinlock as Vince McMahon comes out with Patterson and Brisco and gets a ringside seat to look on.
Austin comes back and lands a series of shots and works over Dude. Match spills to the floor and Austin goes for a piledriver on the ramp but Dude counters with a big back body drop. Austin goes after Vince and backs him up the entrance way but Dude catches him with a shot to the back of the head and brings Austin back towards ringside. Dude tries the outside in suplex which Austin tries to reverse and Dude drops Austin neck first on the ropes. Austin comes back and lands a series of shots and they brawl on the floor. Austin hooks Dude and suplexes him on the protective mat with Dude going knee first into the steps. Dude tries to escape over the guard rail but Austin brings him back and rolls him back into the ring. Dude goes for the SWEET SHIN MUSIC but Austin catches the foot and ducks a shot and Dude catches referee Mike Chioda with a clothesline. Austin and Dude both go for finishers with Dude locking in the Mandible Claw but there’s no one there to count the fall. Austin and Dude brawl on the floor and Austin avoids a chair shot and gets the chair and swings it but Dude ducks and Austin wipes out Vince with the chair. Austin sends Dude into the ring and lands the STUNNER and counts his own fall, but is never declared the winner and we find out after Austin has left the Greensboro Coliseum that Austin has been disqualified for striking a WWF OFFICIAL obviously referring to Vince.
Winner by Disqualification Dude Love.
Solid show overall. A bit of a slow start with the opener but the ending sets up Faarooq/Rock for Over the Edge. A solid Triple H/Owen match with the tease for Owen’s turn after the match which would happen the next night. LOD/Outlaws is fun the finish is a bit odd but you don’t want to take the belts off the Outlaws just yet. Jarrett/Sawyer Brown performance and the Jarrett/Blackman angle at the end of it is nice and sets up Jarrett/Blackman for Over the Edge. Taker/Kane inferno match is a spectacle and you get a Vader return after Kane took him out. Austin/Dude is a fun match and the finish being what it was sets up for Over the Edge no not that one also think it’s a nice touch that they wait until after Austin leaves to officially announce Dude Love the winner because of Austin nailing Vince with the chair.
